Northeast-10 Players of the Week

Caroline Carr, Bryant (Sr., M, Wrentham, Mass. - Scored three goals and added two assists in a 2-1 week. Had two goals in the win over Franklin Pierce and also added an assist for five points in the contest. Scored the game-winning goal in the 2-1 victory over Merrimack.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Alyssa Sliney, Bentley (So., GK, Brewster, Mass.) - Made eight saves in the 2-1 OT win over the Stonehill.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Katie Enaire, UMass Lowell (Fr., F, Amesbury, Mass.) - Led UMass Lowell in points (8), goals (4) and shots (7) in two games this past week. Scored two goals, including the game-winner, in the 3-2 win at Bryant. Netted two goals in the win over Merrimack.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Sarah Ranieri, Assumption (So., F, Bellingham, Mass.) - Recorded six points (2 G, 2 A) in a 1-1 week. Scored two goals and added an assist in a victory over Saint Michael's. Also had an assist at Saint Anselm.

Nicole Murphy, Bentley (So., F, Dedham, Mass.) - Scored the game-winner with 6:40 left in the first OT to give Bentley a 2-1 win over Stonehill. Also had the assist on the game-tying goal in the first half.

Kundayi Mawema, Bryant (So., GK, Hare, Zimbabwe) - Allowed five goals and made 13 saves in a 2-1 week. Made 10 saves in 3-2 loss to UMass Lowell but followed with three saves and just two goals allowed combined in wins over Merrimack and Franklin Pierce.

Courtney O’Brien, Bryant (Sr., F, Tewksbury, Mass.) - Tallied three goals in three games in a 2-1 week. Scored both goals in the 3-2 loss to UMass Lowell and added a goal in the 2-1 win over Merrimack. Recorded an assist in the win over Franklin Pierce.

Tevis Hannington, Franklin Pierce (Fr., GK, Canton, Mass.) - Made five saves and recorded a 2.00 goal against average in two starts last week. Earned a shutout victory with three saves in a 3-0 win over Saint Anselm.

Stephanie Howard, Franklin Pierce (Jr., D, Norwalk, Conn.) - Scored three goals in a 1-1 week. Scored two goals in the 3-0 win over Saint Anselm, then scored against Bryant.

Liz Day, UMass Lowell (Fr., F, North Andover, Mass.) - Scored a goal and added an assist in the win over Merrimack.

Liz Tierney, Saint Anselm (Jr., F, Scituate, Mass.) – Scored a goal in a 2-1 win over Assumption. Scored the eventual game-winner at the 31:50 mark.

Andrea Slaven, Saint Michael's (Jr., F, Danvers, Mass.) - Scored the teams only two goals in a 3-2 loss at Southern Connecticut.

Kate Gedney, Southern Connecticut (Sr., D, Westbrook, Conn.) – In a 2-1 week, notched an assist in the win over American International and scored two goals - the game-tying and game-winning markers - in a 3-2 victory over Saint Michael's.

Whitney Martin, Southern Connecticut (Jr., M, Harwinton, Conn.) – Scored two goals in a 2-1 week. Netted the first goal in the win over Saint Michael's and scored in the win over American International.


Weekly Notes:

FRANKLIN PIERCE: With an assist against Bryant, grad student Mary Beth Huszar moved into a tie for first place on the school's single-season assist list with five helpers.
