Northeast-10 Men’s Track Athlete of the Week

Hafiz Greigre, Bryant (Sr., Attleboro, MA) - Earned an NCAA provisional mark last week in the 200- meters, took three first -place honors at Smith with a first place in the 55-meters in 6.47 seconds and later placed first in the 200m in 21.93 seconds. Captured first in the men's long jump, clearing 21 feet, 2.75 inches.

Northeast-10 Women’s Track Athlete of the Week

Toni-Marie Henry, UMass Lowell (Sr., Springfield, MA) - Captured two events at the Tufts University Stampede. Won the 55-meter dash in 7.24 seconds as well as the 200-meter dash in 25.51 seconds.

Northeast-10 Men’s Track Freshman of the Week

Dan Darcy, Bentley (Fr., Sharon, MA) - Finished first of 20 in the 800-meters at the Dartmouth Invitational, with a time of 1:58.10. Also helped to an eighth-place showing (of 14) in the 4x400 with a time of 3:37.37.

Northeast-10 Women’s Track Freshman of the Week

Stephanie Montagno, Bryant (Fr., Wakefield, MA) - Placed first in the women's 400-meters in a time of 1:01.24 at the Smith Tartan Invitational.

Northeast-10 Men’s Field Athlete of the Week

Rocky LeFort , UMass Lowell ( Jr. , Nashua, NH ) - Won the shot put at the Tufts University Stampede with a throw of 49' 10.50''.

Northeast-10 Women’s Field Athlete of the Week

Molly O'Connell, Assumption (So., Sandy, UT) - Won the shot put for the second straight week by claiming first at the Smith Invitational with a distance of 40 feet, 1.25 inches (12.22 m).

Northeast-10 Women’s Field Freshman of the Week

Jacqui Barrett, UMass Lowell (Fr., Woburn, MA) - Won her fourth shot put title of the year at the Tufts University Stampede with a throw of 40' 10.25''.

Weekly Honor Roll:


Caitlyn Clark, Assumption (Gr., Worcester, MA) - Won the mile (5:08.28) and placed third in the 3,000-meter race with a time of 10:33.22 at the Smith Invitational.

Joe Kowalczyk, Assumption (Gr., Wilbraham, MA) - Won the shot put for the third straight week by claiming first at the Smith Invitational with a distance of 47 feet, 7.5 inches (14.21 m).

Chris O’Day, Assumption (Fr., Braintree, MA) - Finished second in the 800-meters with a time of 2:02.17 and ran the third leg of the fifth place 4x400 meter relay team at the Smith Invitational.

Nicole Pankey, Assumption (Sr., Portsmouth, RI) - Won the triple jump (33’6.75”/10.23 m), finished third in the 55-meter race with a time of 7.68, and placed fifth in the 200-meter race with a finishing time of 28.20.

Meredith Currie, Bentley (Fr., Milton, VT) - Finished fourth of 10 in the triple jump at the Dartmouth Invitational with a distance of 33 feet, 10 inches.

Rob Schneider, Bryant (Sr., North Cornwall, CT) – Took second overall in the pole vault, clearing 13 feet, 5.75 inches.

Natasha Stevenson, Bryant (Sr., Haverhill, MA) – Finished second in the 55-meters at Smith College, finishing with a time of 7.46 seconds. Also took first place in the 200-meters in 26.45 seconds.

Lawrence Aidoo, UMass Lowell (Sr., Pawtucket, RI) - Placed second in two events at the Tufts University Stampede. Runner-up in the long jump with a distance of 21' 8.75'' and placed second in the triple jump with a leap of 44' 6.75''.

Ruben Sanca, UMass Lowell (So., Boston, MA) - Placed second in the 1,000- meters at the Tufts University Stampede with a time of 2:33.58.

Corilynn Smith, UMass Lowell (Jr., Georgetown, MA) - Ran a leg on the 4X200 meter relay team which placed first at the Tufts University Stampede in 1:47.67. Also placed second in the long jump with a distance of 17' even.

Jenny Gardynski, Stonehill (So., Everertt, MA) - Placed third in the 5,000-meters at the Tufts Stampede with a time of 18:42.47.

Keith Gill, Stonehill (Jr., Brockton, MA) - Claimed second straight first place performance at the Tufts Stampede, posting a winning time of 8:45.64 in the 3,000 meters.

David Metzger, Stonehill (Jr., Ellington, CT) - Won the 800-meters at the Tufts Stampede, posting a time of 1:58.70.

Meaghan Murphy, Stonehill (Fr., North Conway, NH) - Placed third in the 3,000-meters at the Tufts Stampede with a time of 10:58.24.

Torrey Price, Stonehill (So., Sleepy Hollow, NY) - Won the 55-meters for the second straight week at the Tufts Stampede, posting a time of 6.46.

Weekly Notes:

BRYANT:
Natasha Stevenson set a new school record in the 55-meters at Smith College, finishing second in 7.46 seconds. Rob Schneider set a new school indoor pole vault record Saturday at Smith College, clearing 13 feet, 5.75 inches to place second overall. STONEHILL: Senior Derek Hebert broke a six-year old Skyhawk record in the men's 600 meters with a time of 1:22.87
