Fazio Named Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year After Storied Career.


 

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - On Monday night at the Northeast-10 Conference Awards Banquet at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Le Moyne's Bryanna Fazio was named Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year for her outstanding achievement on the field and in the classroom. 

Fazio, the NE10 Attacker of the Year and a First Team All-Conference player in her senior season, led the Dolphins in scoring this past season - on the way to the program achieving an undefeated regular season. An IWLCA All-Region First Team player for two straight years, Fazio is a CoSIDA Academic All-District student this past spring and graduates with a 3.954 GPA in Biology. 

She was named the NE10 Women's Lacrosse Elite 24 Award winner for her excellence in the classroom, being honored for achieving the highest GPA of any player at the NE10 Championship. Head coach Kathy Taylor introduced Bryanna at the banquet on Monday night, before NE10 Commissioner Julie Ruppert presented her with the award.
