2013 Southern New Hampshire Men's Soccer
The 2013 edition of the Southern New Hampshire Men's Soccer Team would cap off their season with a National Championship. The Penmen defeated Carson Newman 2-1 in rainy Evans, Georgia to claim their second title in school history in the sport. SNHU would finish their title-winning campaign with a mark of 22-1-1 as they also would win the NE10 regular season, the NE10 tournament and the national title along the way during their historic run.
SNHU's win in the title game capped a 23-game unbeaten streak as they end the season 22-1-1. It was the second national championship in the sport for SNHU, with the other coming in 1989. The Penmen also reached the 2002 championship game. The 22 victories also ties the program record for most wins in a season, reached in both 1988 and 1989.
This year, the NE10 is proud to welcome eight additions to our Hall of Fame. We welcome three national-title winning teams, and five outstanding former student-athletes to the Conference Hall of Fame.
