NCAA ANNOUNCEMENT

Dolphins to Host Regional for the First Time.

MANSFIELD, Mass. - Le Moyne earned the top seed in the East Region when the NCAA announced the 48 teams who will be participating in the 2022 NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Championship on Tuesday night. The Dolphins (21-1, 7-0 NE10), who were automatic qualifiers after their second-straight Northeast-10 Conference title, will be hosting the regional for the first time on May 9-10 - which is when the preliminary rounds are scheduled.

The NE10 grabbed both of the top spots in the East Region, as Southern New Hampshire (10-2, 5-1 NE10) - the NE10 finalist this spring - earned the No. 2 seed and will host the other side of the East Region bracket. Le Moyne will play the winner of the No. 4 Jefferson-No. 5 St. Thomas Aquinas, while SNHU will take on the winner among No. 3 Queens (NY) and No. 6 Chestnut Hill.

The winning team from each of the 16 regional sites will advance to the finals, May 18-22, in Altamonte Springs, Fla. Rollins College and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission will serve as hosts.

Le Moyne captured the 2022 NE10 Men's Tennis Championship by holding off SNHU, 4-3, in Syracuse, N.Y. on Saturday, April 30.
