NE10 Player of the Week

Ella Patterson, Saint Michael's
Sophomore | Outside Hitter | Folsom, Calif.

Patterson averaged 3.88 kills, 2.25 digs, 0.62 aces and 0.50 blocks per set in a 2-0 week. Patterson turned in 10 kills, three aces, two digs and a block in a 3-1 win over 2022 NCAA Tournament qualifier Saint Anselm on Tuesday before posting 21 kills on .341 hitting with 16 digs, three blocks, two aces and two assists in a 3-1 win at Assumption on Saturday. Patterson posted kills on six of her team's final nine points, adding an assist on the clinching kill.

NE10 Libero of the Week

Rilee Jessee, New Haven
Senior | Libero | Edinburgh, Ind.

Jessee combined for a team-high 43 digs combined across the Chargers 2-0 week which included a five-set NE10 win over American International and a three-set sweep of Wilmington. Jessee opened up the week with 28 digs against AIC, tied for the team high with junior Macy Brown. She closed out the week adding 15 digs against Wilmington, while combined for the week she also added a pair of assists and a pair of service aces.

NE10 Setter of the Week

Alexandra Báez Rentas, Saint Michael's
Junior | Setter | San Juan, Puerto Rico

Báez Rentas averaged 10.12 assists, 3.25 digs and 1.38 kills per set while hitting .355 in a 2-0 week. She notched 39 assists, 13 digs, three kills, one ace and one block during a 3-1 win over 2022 NCAA Tournament qualifier Saint Anselm on Tuesday before adding 42 assists, 13 digs, eight kills on .400 hitting, and one block in a 3-1 win at Assumption on Saturday. 

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Yasmeen Muhammad, Pace
Freshman | Middle Blocker | Shoreline, Wash. 

Appearing in all nine sets this week, Muhammad was a key piece in Pace's 2-0 week. Muhammad supplied 12 kills and six blocks in Pace's reverse sweep of Assumption than followed it up with a match-high 16 kills and three blocks against Dominican.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll 

Kambel Fiser, Adelphi (Jr., S - Seattle. Wash.)
Collected her third double-double in as many matches, tallying an impressive 30 assists and 12 digs in a 3-0 victory over Molloy last Wednesday. Fiser has totaled 30 or more assists in six of her last ten matches. 

Dora Butkovic, American Int'l (Jr., OH - Zagreb, Croatia)
Butkovic was a force for AIC in a 3-2 loss at New Haven. She collected 16 kills, swinging .342, while also making 16 digs and a pair of blocks.

Alice Di Francesco, American Int'l (Jr., S - Pescara, Italy)
Di Francesco continued to pile up great stats for AIC in the team's lone match of the week. She dished out 57 assists, 11.40 per set, and scored three aces as well as grabbing 17 digs, 3.40 per set, in the battle with New Haven. 

Brandi Montoya, Assumption (Sr., LB - Aurora, Col.)
Montoya 5.44 digs per set in two games this week. In a five-set thriller against Pace, she logged 29 digs, before making 20 in four-sets against Saint Michael's.

Ingrid Murphy, Bentley (Gr., OH/DS - Cotuit, Mass.)
Murphy combined for 13 kills and 30 digs as Bentley swept a pair of matches against Holy Family and Post. She had six kills and 16 digs against Holy Family and seven kills and 14 digs against Post.

Morgan Schmutzler, Franklin Pierce (Sr., L - Lockport, Ill.)
Schmutzler had 17 digs and 12 receptions with zero errors in the sweep on Friday night against SCSU.

Macy Brown, New Haven (Jr., OH - Cadillac, Mich.)
In a 2-0 week for the Chargers, Brown led the offense with 28 kills, averaging 3.5 per set while hitting .160 for the week. She also added five assists, four aces, 39 digs and a pair of blocks, with the 39 digs second most on the team. Brown would finish both matches of the week with 14 kills, beginning with American International when she added 28 digs to reach the 1,000 dig plateau in the five-set win over the Yellow Jackets. She followed that up with 14 kills and 11 digs against Wilmington to round out the weeks action.

Michelle Henwood, New Haven (Sr., S - Guaynabo, Puerto Rico)
Henwood led her offense to a 2-0 week, including a five-set win over reigning NE10 Champion AIC with 70 assists while adding nine kills and 26 digs combined on the week. Her 70 assists averaged out to 8.75 per set. Henwood opened up the week with a near triple-double as she collected 33 assists and 13 digs and finished just shy of double figures on offense with eight kills, while also adding a pair of blocks. She then closed out the week with 37 assists and 13 digs in a three-set sweep of Wilmington. 

Kaitlin Brown, Saint Anselm (Sr., OH - Glendale, Ariz.)
Brown led the team in kills in both matches this week for Saint Anselm including 17 kills against SNHU matching her career-high. She also tallied 13 digs, five aces, and four blocks. Brown is currently second on the team and fourth in the conference in kills with 191 total. 

Ella Koelb, Southern N.H. (So., S - Auburn. N.H.)
Koelb collected 84 assists (9.33 a/s), two aces (0.22 sa/s), 22 digs (2.44 d/s) and two blocks (0.22 b/s) during a 1-1 week for the Penmen. Koelb reached career-highs with 39 assists and 15 assists in a 3-2 win at Stonehill on Wednesday and then set a new career-high with 45 helpers, to go with seven digs and a pair of blocks, in a 3-1 loss to Saint Anselm on Saturday.
