MANSFIELD, Mass. – A pair of both men's and women's student-athletes from the Northeast-10 Conference were selected to the Academic All-America Division II At-Large teams by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Thursday afternoon.

Adelphi's Alison Johnson (lacrosse) and Le Moyne's Nicholas Barney (golf) were honored as First Team recipients, claiming Academic All-America recognition for the second-straight year after both were named to the Second Team in 2018-19.

Bentley's Ellis Yoder (golf) and Saint Rose's Colleen Quaglia (swimming & diving) were Third Team selections, earning the first CoSIDA Academic All-America recognition of their careers.

The at-large program for the CoSIDA Academic All-America program includes the sports of fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming & diving, tennis, water polo, bowling, crew, field hockey, volleyball and wrestling.

The Academic All-America program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2019-20 Division II Academic All-America teams program.

Johnson, who helped the Panthers win the 2019 NCAA DII National Championship, graduated this past May with a 3.91 GPA in sociology. She is a two-time Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) First Team All-American and three-time NE10 First Team All-Conference honoree; she was also named NE10 Player of the Year in 2018.

Barney, who graduates with a 3.99 GPA in physics, was named the winner of the Elite 24 Award this past season for men's golf in the NE10 – an award that honors the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA participating at the finals site of each NE10 Championship. He was Second Team All-Conference as a junior.

Yoder graduated with a 3.96 GPA in computer information systems and was the first-ever recipient of the NE10's Elite 24 Award at the league's 2018 Men's Golf Championship.

Quaglia, who enters her senior year with a 4.0 GPA in accounting, qualified for the NCAA Championships this past season in the 200 butterfly and 500 freestyle.
