NE10 with 14 Student-Athletes Named to CoSIDA At-Large Academic All-District Teams

MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference had six men's and eight women's student-athletes selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large Teams, as announced this week. Six different sports and seven different NE10 institutions were represented among the 14 student-athletes. 

The 2021-22 Academic All-District At-Large Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the playing surface and in the classroom. First Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot, with final results announced in June.

Adelphi had a league-best four selections, while four other NE10 institutions - Assumption, Le Moyne, Pace and Stonehill - had multiple representatives on the Academic All-District Teams. The Panthers had two student-athletes recognized on both the men's and women's sides - Joseph Duchnowski (lacrosse), Jason Rosen (swimming), Jackie Brown (field hockey) and Kailey Broderick (lacrosse). 

Field hockey produced the most NE10 honorees with four, while men's and women's lacrosse tied for second with three. Six of the 14 student-athletes earned major awards from the NE10 for their athletic achievements in 2021-22, including Duchnowski (Men's Lacrosse Player of the Year), Le Moyne's Frank Delia (Men's Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Year), Assumption's Jenna Graf (Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Year), Broderick (Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year), Stonehill's Lydia Rudden (Women's Lacrosse Attacker of the Year) and Saint Rose's Colleen Quaglia (Women's Swimmer of the Year). 

The CoSIDA Academic All-District teams are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The NE10 falls into District I, which it shares with the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) and East Coast Conference (ECC).

The NE10 is an association of 14 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.
