baseball team is happy to welcome Matt
Pitino to the squad through Team IMPACT.
10-year-old Matt and his family were introduced to the baseball
team on Monday at Moore Field House, where Matt was given his own
jersey and team hat. Matt and his family will be invited to
team events throughout the academic year and will be an important
part of the So. Connecticut baseball team.
Team IMPACT is a New England-based non-profit organization serving
children who are facing life-threatening diseases by creating
unparalleled team-based support systems. Core to its model is
leveraging the power of teamwork by matching up these courageous
kids with college athletic teams. In working with Team IMPACT, So.
