Le Moyne Claims Top Seed with Tiebreak Over Assumption.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Le Moyne and Assumption earned a share of the Northeast-10 Conference regular season title on Tuesday, as the Women's Basketball Championship bracket was released. Five first round games are scheduled for Friday, while the top three teams receive a bye.
The Dolphins (21-5, 16-4 NE10) won a tiebreaker over the Greyhounds (22-4, 16-4 NE10) to earn the top seed in the Championship. Southern New Hampshire (19-6, 15-5 NE10) is seeded third and has earned the other first-round bye and will automatically advance to Sunday's quarterfinals.

Le Moyne won its third NE10 regular season title in the past four seasons and did so by riding an 11-game winning streak into the postseason. Assumption, currently ranked No. 23 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Top 25 rankings, tallied its first regular season championship in program history under longtime head coach Kerry Phayre.
Southern New Hampshire - the host of the 2022 NCAA East Regional - continues its success with a third-place finish in the standings after winning five of its last six games down the stretch. Bentley, the reigning NE10 champion, finished with a 14-6 record in conference games and will enter the Championship as the No. 4 seed.
Joining Bentley with first round home games is New Haven at the No. 5 seed, while AIC is the No. 6 seed due to a tiebreaker over Southern Connecticut, which comes in at No. 7. Pace, the No. 8 seed, will host No. 9 Saint Anselm on Friday.
Games for all rounds of the NE10 Women's Basketball Championship will be available on NE10 NOW, the Conference's digital streaming platform, via NE10NOW.tv or by downloading the mobile app. Admission for all rounds of the Championship is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and youth, and free for all NE10 students with a valid ID.
