NE10 Player of the Week

Jess Knight, Southern New Hampshire
Senior | Forward | Hanover, Mass.

Knight posted 18.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steal per game, while shooting 38.7 percent (12-31) from the floor and 92.3 percent (12-13) from the line, during a 2-0 week for SNHU. Knight registered 14 points (5-15 FG, 4-4 FT) and 11 rebounds in a 69-49 victory over American International on Wednesday, before going off for a season-high 22 points (7-16 FG, 8-9 FT), 13 boards, a career-best six blocks and three helpers in Saturday's 65-56 win against Southern Connecticut. Knight contributed five points during a game-ending 14-0 run that gave the Penmen the victory.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Niya Morgen, Bentley
Freshman | Guard | Swampscott, Mass.

Morgen came off the bench to average 9.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in a 3-0 week for Bentley. Her 9-of-24 shooting included 5-of-10 from three and she also made 5-of-7 free throws. Her top performance of the week came at St. Michael's when she tallied 15 points on 5/10 field goals, 2/3 threes and 3/5 free throws. 


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll 

Briana Lee, American Int'l (Sr., G/F - Jersey City, N.J.)
Lee was AIC's best player in a week against tough opposition. She averaged 16.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 steals per game across contests at Southern New Hampshire and against Pace, with five swipes in both games. She shot 50 percent from the floor, including 50 percent from deep, and was 100 percent at the line. Despite playing 32 minutes per night and regularly facing the opposition's best defenders, she committed just one turnover. 

Amanda Mieczkowski, Assumption (Sr., G - Hadley, Mass.)
Mieczkowski was instrumental in Assumption's 2-0 week. In Wednesday's 53-40 win over Pace, she filled the box score with 15 points, two rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block. On Saturday, Mieczkowski scored 13 points while adding seven boards, three assists, and one steal to help move Assumption to 7-0 at home.

Kylie DuCharme, Bentley (Jr., F - Wilmington, Mass.)
DuCharme, in a 3-0 week for the 18th-ranked Falcons, averaged 16.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.0 steals and one assist while shooting .543 overall and .833 from the line. She provided the Falcons with 23 points and 10 rebounds against Staten Island, nine points and four rebounds at St. Michael's, and 18 points and 7 rebounds against Franklin Pierce. She totaled 50 points in 80 minutes and grabbed 10 of her 23 rebounds at the offensive end.

Colette Mulderig, Franklin Pierce (Sr., F/C - Scranton, Pa.)
Collete had a solid week for the Ravens highlighted by her performance against Adelphi on Wednesday. There, she led the Ravens to a 68-54 victory after she went 9/13 from the field including two three-pointers. Following the final whistle, Mulderig tallied a single-game career high 22 points. 

Tatum Forbes, Saint Anselm (So., G - Pawtucket, R.I.)
Forbes poured in 23 points against Saint Rose on Wednesday, her fifth 20-plus point game of the season, along with another 14 points versus New Haven to help the Hawks go 2-0 in conference play. She shot 50.0 percent from the floor after making 10-of-20 baskets against the Golden Knights and recorded a season-high five steals. Forbes currently ranks fourth in points per game (14.7) and fifth in field goals made per game (5.3-13.2) in the conference. 

Rheyna Steinauer, Southern Conn. St. (So., F - Oakville, Ontario)
Steinauer had a career night for the Owls, as she led the team with a career-high of 19 points, a team-best of nine rebounds, a team best of four steals, made three three-pointers, shot a team-best of 4-for-6 from the free-throw line and shot a team-best of 6-for-13 from the floor. In addition, with 1:32 left on the clock, Steinauer made two big free-throws that gave Southern the lead to win the 59-56 thriller over New Haven.
