NE10 Player of the Week

Briana Lee, American International
Senior | Guard/Forward | Jersey City, N.J.

Lee put up astonishing numbers in a 1-2 week for AIC. She averaged 21.0 points and 13.7 rebounds per contest for the Yellow Jackets. Lee shot 47.1 percent from the floor on the week, to go along with three double-double performances - 21 points and 10 rebounds against Saint Michael's, 16 points and 16 rebounds against Molloy, and 26 points and 15 rebounds at Saint Anselm. 


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Amber Furch, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Guard | Los Angeles, Calif.

Furch averaged 17.0 points and 5.5 rebounds during a 1-1 week. In a 62-52 loss to AIC on Tuesday, she totaled 15 points and six boards before collecting 19 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including 3-for-5 from three-point range, to go along with five rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 62-59 win over Adelphi on Saturday. She was 8-for-10 on free throws in that contest. 


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll 

Isabella Asencio, Adelphi (Fr., G - Midland Park, N.J.)
Asencio exploded for her best week yet as a Panther, averaging a team-best 21.0 points per game on an astounding 53.3 percent (16-of-30) shooting from the field. She led her team in minutes played in both contests, dropping 18 points at home against Assumption and leading all players with a career-high 24 points at Saint Michael's on Saturday. 

Molly Stokes, Assumption (Sr., G - Worcester, Mass.)
Stokes averaged 18.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists during a 2-0 week for the Greyhounds. In Assumption's 64-50 win at Adelphi, she recorded 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting and 4-for-7 from long range while adding five rebounds. On Saturday, Stokes scored 16 points on 5-for-8 shooting, while adding six assists and one block in the Greyhounds 81-51 win over SNHU. 

Kylie DuCharme, Bentley (Jr., F - Wilmington, Mass.)
On a night that Bentley took sole possession of first place in the conference, DuCharme led the nationally-ranked Falcons to a 66-47 win at Southern Connecticut by amassing 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and a game-high +32. DuCharme made six of 11 shots overall and was perfect on four free throw attempts.

Makaela Johnson, New Haven (Sr., F - Hamden, Conn.)
Johnson led the Chargers scoring efforts across a pair of games last week, both starts for the grad transfer. She began the week with 12 points on the road at Franklin Pierce, shooting 4-of-7 from the field with three from beyond the arc. She then added 11 points at home against Saint Rose, again hitting three buckets from outside the arc as she was a perfect 3-of-3 from long range. Overall for the week, she shot 63.6 percent from the field (7-11) and 85.7 percent from beyond the arc (6-7). Additionally, she pulled down nine rebounds and dished out seven assists combined in the two games. 

Melanie Hoyt, Saint Anselm (Jr., F - Stamford, N.Y.)
Hoyt scored a career-high 27 points against American International College to lift Saint Anselm to a 77-55 conference win over the Yellow Jackets. She capped the week going 13-for-26 for a 50.0 shooting percentage from the floor along with six total rebounds, one assist, and three blocks. Hoyt was also perfect from the free throw line making 9-of-9 attempts during Saturday's victory.

Katie Williamson, Southern Conn. St. (Sr., F - Dublin, Ireland)
Williamson had her third double-double of the season with 12 points and 12 rebounds in a 58-38 win against Franklin Pierce. In addition, Williamson also led the team with 12 points, five rebounds, two blocks and shot 100% from the free-throw line in a loss against Bentley.

Adriana Timberlake, Southern N.H. (Gr., G - Braintree, Mass.)
Timberlake averaged 18.5 points, 2.5 assists, 1.0 rebound and 1.0 steal per game, while shooting 44.8 percent (13-29) from the field, 63.6 percent (7-11) from deep and 80 percent (4-5) from the stripe, during an 0-2 week for SNHU. Timberlake poured in 23 points (7-16 FG, 5-9 3-FG, 4-4 FT) and dished a pair of assists in a 53-46 loss at Saint Rose on Tuesday, before adding 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-2 3-FG), three assists and two boards in Saturday's 81-51 defeat at Assumption.
