Quarterfinals to Begin on Wednesday
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Defending national champion Adelphi has earned the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Northeast-10 Women's Lacrosse Championship, it was announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.
The Panthers (15-1, 12-1 NE-10) won the head-to-head tiebreaker over second-seeded Le Moyne (15-2, 12-1) with a 15-6 win over the Dolphins on Saturday.
NE-10 Quarterfinal games will begin on Wednesday. Adelphi will host eighth-seeded Saint Michael's (6-8, 6-7) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Le Moyne will host No. 7 seed Assumption for a 2 p.m. contest.
New Haven (14-2, 11-2) collected the No. 3 seed and will welcome No. 6 Saint Anselm (8-7, 7-6) for a 7 p.m. start. Fifth-seeded Bentley (10-5, 9-4) will pay a visit to No. 4 seed Stonehill (14-3, 10-3) with game time set for 7 p.m. as well.
The semifinals will take place on Saturday, May 2 and will be hosted by the top remaining seed. The Northeast-10 Championship game will follow on Sunday, also held at the top remaining seed.
