Seven NE10 Basketball Student-Athletes Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Teams

Three Adelphi Players Recognized for Excellence in Classroom.


MANSFIELD, Mass. - Seven men's and women's basketball players from the Northeast-10 Conference have been recognized by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) for their outstanding work on the court and in the classroom, earning a place on the Academic All-District Team, as announced on Thursday, May 6. 

The Academic All-District Men's and Women's Basketball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined athletic and academic performances across four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. First Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. Honorees will be announced in late May. 

Adelphi has a league-high three players included on Academic All-District Teams, including Ronnie SilvaEmily Miccile and Katie Murphy. Four other players from different teams were also selected, including Saint Rose's Adam Anderson, Stonehill's Monty Urmilevicius, Franklin Pierce's Izzy Lipinski and Saint Michael's Nicole Anderson

The NE10 continues to be a force in academic metrics across all Division II conferences, as the league accounted for seven of 10 possible placements on Academic All-District Teams in District I - which covers the three East Region conferences.

Beginning its 40th anniversary season, the NE10 is an association of 14 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete. 

Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship. Leading the way in the classroom, on the field and within the community, the NE10 is proud of its comprehensive program and the experience it provides student-athletes.
