NE10 Player of the Week
Stephanie Sutton-Brown, Saint Anselm
Junior | Midfield | Ashby, Mass.
Sutton-Brown helped the Hawks split a pair of games against two top-5 programs this week. She scored the game-winner with just over a minute remaining in the first overtime, helping the Hawks to an upset victory over No. 3 West Chester on 9/3.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Abby Clark, American International
Senior | Midfield | Uxbridge, Mass.
Clark had a strong showing in her AIC debut in Ohio. She netted a goal and also recorded a defensive save to help AIC blank Slippery Rock, 2-0.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Mackenzie McConnell, Saint Anselm
Senior | Goalkeeper | Concord Township, Me.
In two games against top-5 nationally ranked opponents, McConnell posted a .778 save percentage and recorded 14 total saves. In the Hawks 2-1 OT upset victory over No. 3 West Chester, McConnell turned away six of the seven shots she faced against West Chester, earning the first victory of the 2023 campaign.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Mayra Bok, American International
Freshman | Midfield | Sleeuwijk, Netherlands
Bok wasted no time in getting herself on the scoresheet, notching the winning goal in her debut against Slippery Rock - as AIC earned a 2-0 shutout win.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Ali Nagy, Adelphi (Jr., M - Westbury, N.Y.)
Nagy started her junior campaign with two goals at Molloy to boost what was already a high output scoring day for the Panthers in a 6-1 win. She also had a spectacular goal vs. Newberry in the home opener, receiving a cross court pass from the right side to control and tap it in to tie the game early. The Panthers lost by a 4-2 score.
Taylor Wildes, American Int'l (Gr., G - Biddeford, Me.)
Wildes had a busy weekend for the Yellow Jackets, turning aside a dozen shots. Included in that total was an eight-save shutout of Slippery Rock for the team's first victory of 2023.
Katie Thies, Bentley (Sr., F - Liverpool, N.Y.)
Thies scored 2:49 into the 1st quarter of Bentley's 1-0 victory over No. 5 ranked Millersville on Sunday to open the season. It was her 15th career goal.
Mia Trottie, Bentley (Jr., GK - Cinnaminson, N.J.)
Trottie and the Bentley defense shutout No. 5 ranked Millersville in a 1-0 victory in the season opener on Sunday. She made two saves for her sixth career shutout.
Alexandra Giordano, Mercy (Jr., GK - Manorville, N.Y.)
Giordano made a career-high 14 saves with a .778 save percentage and four goals allowed against Bloomsburg on Sunday.
Tavia Flecksteiner, Pace (So., M - Bethlehem, Pa.)
Flecksteiner scored three goals in a 1-1 start to the season for Pace. She scored both goals in a 2-0 win over STAC, followed by one goal in a 6-3 loss to Newberry. She recorded eight shots on the week, including six on goal.
