NE10 Player of the Week
Krista Dietz, Pace
Junior | Forward | Mahopec, N.Y.
Dietz provided three goals and three assists this week in a 2-0 week for Pace. Against Mercy, she was involved in five of the six goals Pace scored. She currently sits second in the NCAA in points per game.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Grace Michael, Saint Anselm
Junior | Back | Hampton Falls, N.H.
Michael recorded her second career goal on Thursday against Southern N.H. and would go on to tally her first collegiate assist versus Southern Conn. St. the following game to help improve the Hawks to 5-2 in conference play. She has continued to be a key asset in Saint Anselm's defense, starting in every game so far this season.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Mia Trottie, Bentley
Junior | Goalkeeper | Cinnaminson, N.J.
Trottie recorded two shutouts, her third and fourth in a row, to help Bentley to wins over to Saint Michael's and Mercy. She made two saves in a 1-0 victory at the Purple Knights and a season high seven saves in the win over Mercy. Trottie has now gone 272 minutes since she last conceded a goal. She has five shutouts on the season and leads the NE10 in both save percentage (.841) and goals against average (0.70).
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Minke van de Poll, Southern New Hampshire
Freshman | Midfielder | Oosterbeek, The Netherlands
Freshman Minke van de Poll scored three goals in the first half and SNHU Field Hockey stunned No. 5 Saint Anselm, 4-1, last Wednesday on Larkin Field for the first win over the Hawks in program history.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Taylor Wildes, American International College (Gr., GK - Biddeford, Maine)
Wildes continued to be AIC's strongest player in a 1-1 week. She stopped 11 shots against Assumption, including a penalty stroke, and then followed with a shutout of Molloy, her third clean sheet of the season. The graduate student is third in the NE10 in save percentage and second in goals against average.
Lily Daly, Assumption (Sr., F - Foxborough, Mass.)
Daly pushed her point streak to six games following a six-point week. She logged two goals at American International before scoring another at Adelphi on Saturday. In both games, Daly was credited with the game-winning goal.
Paige Gillette, Assumption (Jr., GK - Andover, Mass.)
Gillette extended her shutout streak to three and six of the last seven games. She recorded two saves in each contest in two road games this week, as Assumption pushed their winning streak to seven games. Gillette currently leads the NE10 in goals-against average (0.14), save percentage (0.941), wins (7), and shutouts (6) in conference action.
Zoe Noorlag, Franklin Pierce (Fr., GK - Oosterbeek, The Netherlands)
A week after being named National Defensive Player of the Week, Noorlag continues to be a force in net for the Ravens. Last week she recored 15 saves and two wins including a shutout against Molloy.
Kat Trammel, New Haven (Sr., F - Sandy Hook, CT)
Trammel racked up an eight point week for the Chargers with three goals and a pair of assists, including a game-winning goal in a 4-2 win over Southern New Hampshire. In the first game of the week, Trammel finished with a goal and an assist in a road game against crosstown rival Southern Connecticut. She followed that up with three goals and an assist against SNHU with her two goals breaking a 2-2 stalemate, scoring the game-winner and then following it up with an empty net score in the final minute to ice the victory. She also provided the assist on the first goal of the night against SNHU.
Courtney Watt, St. Michael's (Sr., Keeper - Auckland, New Zealand)
Watt turned in 14.0 saves per game, an .875 save percentage and a 2.00 GAA during a two-game week. She made 12 stops in a 1-0 loss to Bentley on Wednesday before collecting 16 stops in a 3-1 loss at Pace on Saturday.
Nicola Van Vuuren, St. Thomas Aquinas (Jr., F - Pretoria South Africa)
Van Vuuren tallied two goals and an assist on the week for STAC, including the game-winner in overtime against Adelphi.
Trinidad Rodrigue Ricchiuti, Southern Connecticut State (So., F - Buenos Aires, Argentina)
Owls sophomore Trinidad Rodriguez Ricchiuti had a monster week for the Owls, who extended their winning streak to four games before falling to Saint Anselm on Saturday. Against New Haven, Rodriguez Ricchiuti broke the program record with four assists against the Chargers in a 4-3 win. She also set up the Owls only goal against Saint Anselm and has tallied a point in the Owls last three games.
