Almog, Hapkiewicz, Glasgow Win Top Postseason Honors

Almog Swimming Awards

MANSFIELD, Mass. - Forever attached at the hip, Southern Connecticut State's Justice Glasgow and Bentley's Emma Hapkiewicz repeated this season as NE10 Co-Swimmers of the Year.  The pair shared the honor in 2023 as well, the first duo to do so in NE10 history.

All postseason major NE10 awards are selected by a vote of the league's coaches.

A two-time All-America Honorable Mention, Glasgow swam at this season's NCAA Championship after winning four golds at the NE10 meet.  Glasgow is the 2024 NE10 champion in the 100 fly and the 200 free, 200 medley and 400 medley relays.  The junior is the eighth SCSU swimmer to win Swimmer of the Year since the conference began the award in 2004-05.

Like Glasgow, Hapkiewicz competed at the 2024 NCAA meet after a superb NE10 Championship.  Hapkiewicz is the 2024 NE10 standard bearer in the 500 free, 1000 free, 1650 free and as part of the 400 free and 400 medley relays.  The senior was the Swimmer of the Meet at the NE10 Championship.

An All-American off the three-meter diving platform, Hilla Almog joins Hapkiewicz as an award winner from Bentley.  The Diver of the Meet at the NE10 Championship, Almog is the fourth Bentley diver to win the honor and makes it eight of the last 11 years that the NE10's top diver has hailed from Waltham.

SCSU's Tim Quill claimed his 14th Women's Swimming Coach of the Year while Bentley's Rick Danehy claimed his ninth Women's Diving Coach of the Year.
