Eleven Northeast-10 Conference student-athletes were selected as Capital One Academic All-Americans in the sports of cross country and track and field, it was announced today.
New Haven's Ada Udaya was a three-time All-America honoree at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships this past weekend, leading the Chargers to a 12th place team finish. Individually, the junior sprinter placed second in the 100-meter dash with a final time of 11.63 seconds and finished third in the 200-meter dash with a mark of 23.55 seconds in the championship heat. She was also a member of the fifth-place 4x400-meter relay team that bettered its own program record with a time of 3:42.90. For her career, Udaya is now an 11-time All-American (indoor and outdoor).
