NCAA RELEASE

Regional to Take Place From May 6-8.

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA has announced the field of 48 teams and 24 individuals who will compete in regional competition of the 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships. East Regional play will be conducted from May 6-8 at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, Ind. The University of Indianapolis will serve as host.

Both Franklin Pierce (No. 14) and New Haven (No. 15) qualified for regional play after strong performances throughout the 2023-24 season. New Haven, the reigning NE10 champion, received a bid via automatic qualification. Franklin Pierce was an at-large selection.

All participants at the four regional sites will compete through 54 holes. The top three (Central), five (South), five (West) and five (East) teams along with the top two individuals not on an advancing team will move on to the NCAA Championships - which will be held May 21-25 at Orange County National Golf Center in Orlando, Fla. The number of participants that qualify for the finals is 98.

Franklin Pierce is led by Kesinee Prukmathakul, a two-time individual medalist at the NE10 Women's Golf Championship, while New Haven's Wynter Flores and Isabella Thomas both earned nods to the NE10 All-Championship Team this past fall.
