Academic All-America WSOC

FULL ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA TEAMS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches honored this season's Academic All-America teams this month at the organization's convention in Anaheim, Calif.  Saint Rose standouts Mia Klammer and Pia Bozic were the NE10's representatives on the Academic All-America squads, with Klammer being named the National Scholar Athlete of the Year.

The All-America honor was the second in as many years for Klammer, a 3.47 GPA student in Childhood and Special Education.  The junior is one of eight student-athletes to appear as an honoree for the second time.

Bozic, who transfered to St. Rose from Arizona State, was named NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year in 2022.  She was stellar this fall as well.  No qualifying player outside Albany allowed fewer goals or had a higher save percentage than Bozic in 2023.  The native of Kamnik, Slovakia holds a 3.54 GPA in Psychology.
