NE10 Player of the Week
Ben McCreary, Le Moyne
Senior | Midfield | Cicero, N.Y.
He tallied six points on five goals and one assist in top-ranked Le Moyne's 2-0 week. He had two goals and an assist in a 22-1 victory over Saint Rose on Wednesday. He scored three times on seven shots in a 6-4 win over 10th-ranked Pace on Saturday.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Riley Smith, Le Moyne
Senior | Goalkeeper | Baldwinsville, N.Y.
He registered a 3.33 goals against average, 16 saves and a .762 save percentage in top-ranked Le Moyne's 2-0 week. He made nine saves in 30 minutes of action in a 22-1 win over Saint Rose on Wednesday. He tallied seven saves in a 6-4 victory over 10th-ranked Pace on Saturday.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
James Heitmiller, Franklin Pierce
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Nashua, N.H.
James Heitmiller started both games in the cage for Pierce leading the Ravens to a perfect 2-0 week. He played 112:33 minutes in net notching 20 saves (69.0 sv%) with a 4.80 goals-against average and the first two wins of his collegiate career. In the 11-5 win at Saint Michael's, Heitmiller made 13 saves allowing only five goals in the Raven win. He followed that up stopping seven shots and allowing only four goals on Saturday at home against American International.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Keaton Roarick, Bentley (Jr., GK, Old Saybrook, Conn.)
Roarick backstopped Bentley to two wins over AIC and Saint Michael's. He posted a combined 73.1 save percentage for the two games with 19 total saves. He had an 80 percent save percentage in Bentley's 18-5 win at AIC on April 7. Roarick then made 15 saves and had a 71.4 save percentage to help the Falcons defeat Saint Michael's 15-6 on Saturday.
Sean Daly, Franklin Pierce (So., M, Kingston, Mass.)
Sean Daly started and played in both games for the Ravens this past week leading his squad to a 2-0 record. He recorded six goals, four assists for 10 total points with four groundballs, and one caused turnover. In the 11-5 win over Saint Michael's Daly matched a career-high with four goals and five total points to go along with one assist, contributing three groundballs. On Saturday at home versus American International, Daly racked up two goals, a personal-high three assists for five points with a groundball and a caused turnover.
Dan Lewis, Pace (Gr., D, Bohemia, N.Y.)
Lewis was sensational for the Setters' defense during their two games last week. The graduate student totaled 13 caused turnovers and seven ground balls. He was especially dominant on Saturday against No. 1 Le Moyne. Lewis totaled a career-high eight caused turnovers in a 6-4 loss to the Dolphins, while also putting in his second goal of the season.
Jack Andrews, Saint Anselm (So., M, Cumberland, R.I.)
Andrews has scored three goals and an assist in each of his last three games, but it was his eight-point week that helped the Hawks post a 2-0 record against Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday and Assumption on Saturday. He posted eight points via six goals and two assists to tie for the team lead with eight points (6-2=8). He is tied for the NE10 lead in goals (21) and points (24).
CJ Hart, Saint Anselm (Sr., GK, Reading, Mass.)
Hart allowed just three goals this past week, helping Saint Anselm to a 2-0 record with eight saves across 65 minutes of game play. He sits atop the NE10 leaderboard with a 5.65 goals-against average and his .590 save percentage is third in the league.
Justin Richmond, Saint Michael's (Sr., FO, New Market, Md.)
Senior Justin Richmond (New Market, Md.) averaged 8.5 ground balls while going 26-for-43 (60.5%) on faceoffs during an 0-2 week. In an 11-5 loss to Franklin Pierce on Wednesday, he was 15-for-20 on draws with nine ground balls before finishing 11-for-23 at the X with eight ground balls during a 15-6 loss on Saturday against Bentley, which was receiving national votes. Richmond set a school record for career ground balls in the process, ending the week with 219.
