NE10 Player of the Week
Joey Pezzimenti, Le Moyne
Sophomore | Attack | Norwood, Mass.
He registered 13 points on six goals and seven assists in top-ranked Le Moyne's 2-0 week. He had seven points on two goals and five assists in a 17-10 victory over Saint Rose on Wednesday. He tallied six points on four goals and two assists in playing just the first half to go with two ground balls in a 22-7 win over Franklin Pierce on Saturday.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Tom Raeke, Assumption
Sophomore | Long Stick Midfielder | Holden, Mass.
Raeke was a key defensive force for the Greyhounds in their 2-0 week. At Molloy, he recorded five ground balls, four caused turnovers, and added an assist to his stat line. Against AIC, Raeke added one roundball and one caused turnover to his weekly stats, giving him six and five respectively.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Colin Malone, Assumption
Junior | Goalkeeper | East Patchogue, N.Y.
Malone recorded 13 saves in each of the games this week for Assumption for a 63.4 save percentage and 7.50 goals against average. At Molloy, he made 13 stops on 19 shots, while against AIC on Saturday, Malone made 13 stops on 22 shots. The junior netminder had recorded double-digit stops in eight of the last nine games.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Kyle Lewis, Adelphi
Freshman | Attack | Franklin Square, N.Y.
In a 1-1 week for Adelphi men's lacrosse, Kyle Lewis put up the most points for a rookie, scoring three times and adding one helper. In non-conference action against Mercy College, he scored twice and collected three ground balls while also causing one turnover.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Jason Rebaudo, Adelphi (Jr., A - Seaford, N.Y.)
In a 1-1 week for Adelphi men's lacrosse, Jason Rebaudo put up a team-leading eight points, including a 7-point performance against Mercy College. Over two contests he totaled six ground balls and also added two caused turnovers in a loss to Bentley.
Nolan Sheehan, Assumption (Sr., A - Potomac, Md.)
Sheehan recorded ten goals and 11 points in two wins this week of the Greyhounds, as the Senior scored five goals and one assist at Molloy in a 14-6 road win. On Senior Day against AIC, Sheehan scored five more goals. In both games, he recorded three ground balls while only having one turnover.
Luke Jaber, Bentley (Sr., A - Milton, Mass)
one assist in Bentley's 20-5 win over St. Michael's on April 19. Jaber then had 1 goal and 1 assist in the team's 13-11 win at No. 2 Adelphi.
Jackson Tinsley, Bentley (So., GK - Beverly Hills, Mich.)
Tinsley helped Bentley to a 2-0 week, including a 13-11 win over No. 2 Adelphi. In the win over the Panthers he made 14 saves with a 56.0 save percentage, plus a key caused turnover at the end of the game. He made eight saves and had a season-high 61.5 save percentage in a victory over St. Michael's on April 19.
Joe Nuttig, Franklin Pierce (Gr., A - Amherst, N.H.)
Through two games this past week, Nutting contributed 7 goals for 7 points on 8 total shots on goal, including a five-goal outing against Southern New Hampshire, and a pair of strikes against top-ranked Le Moyne. Of his goal totals, one came a man-up for the Raven graduate, who also added in one ground ball.
Matt Vavonese, Le Moyne (Sr., GK - Syracuse, N.Y.)
He registered a 7.69 goals against average, 10 saves and a .500 save percentage over 78:00 in top-ranked Le Moyne's 2-0 week. He made seven saves in a 17-10 win over Saint Rose on Wednesday. He then turned away three shots (against one goal) in 26-plus minutes in a 22-7 victory over Franklin Pierce on Saturday.
Jake Veres, Pace (Gr., A - Robbinsville, N.J.)
Veres played in two games last week, scoring six goals and adding two assists for eight points. In Wednesday's 10-9 win over Saint Anselm, he scored two goals, including the game-winner with 10.3 seconds remaining, while adding one assist and one caused turnover. In Saturday's win over Saint Rose, he scored four goals while adding one assist and one ground ball.
Chase Lilly, Saint Anselm (Jr., A - Trumbull, Conn.)
Lilly matched a team-high with three goals in a loss to nationally-ranked Pace, marking the lone contest of the week for the Hawks. Lilly attempted 10 shots, putting eight of them on goal. The junior also collected three ground balls and caused one turnover.
Ryan Auger, Southern N.H. (Sr., M - Hampstead, N.H.)
Ryan Auger tallied eight total points in the two overtime wins for SNHU last week. He had five points on two goals and three assists against Franklin Pierce. On Saturday, in the win over Saint Michael's, Auger's second goal of the game was the overtime winner. His 47 points (22 goals, 25 assists) lead the Penmen.
Ronan DePaul, Southern N.H. (Jr., GK - Elkton, Md.)
In a pair of overtime wins, DePaul was the winning goaltender. He stopped 19 shots in the 13-12 win over Franklin Pierce and had eight more in the 10-9 win Saturday over Saint Michael's. DePaul had a .563 save percentage over the two games, which is right in line with his .569 season percentage.
