NE10 Player of the Week
Johannes Sundgot, Assumption
Senior | Midfield | Ulstein, Norway
Sundgot scored two goals and provided the winning assist in the 4-3 win vs the College of Staten Island, as part of a 1-1 week for Assumption. He scored a free kick and a penalty while running the show from the midfield for the entire game, while also setting up the game-winning goal as well.
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Isnaba Namusse, Southern New Hampshire

Namusse helped anchor a back line that limited opponents to 21 shots during a 2-0 week that featured a pair of shutouts against foes that were receiving votes in the national poll. Namusse also set the tone in the season opener, scoring just 6:06 into an eventual 2-0 win over Mercy.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Jurgen Huber, Southern New Hampshire
Graduate | Goalkeeper | Schorfling, Austria
Huber made all 12 saves he needed to for a pair of clean sheets during a 2-0 week for SNHU. Huber began his Penmen career with five stops in a 2-0 win over Mercy on Thursday and then racked up seven more saves in another 2-0 victory against Jefferson on Sunday.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Peter Hasund, Assumption
Freshman | Forward | Bergen, Norway
Hasun scored the game-winning goal in his second collegiate start for the Greyhounds. He led the backline playing center back the whole game before pushing forward to help try and score and succeeded in doing so, leading Assumption to a 4-3 win over Staten Island.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Lucas Morales-Fernandez, American Int'l (Sr., GK - Amherst, Mass.)
Morales-Fernandes racked up save after save for the Yellow Jackets in a pair of ties with strong opponents. He made nine stops against No. 19 Post, and then turned back six more shots against Wilmington.
Simba Pelletier, American Int'l (Jr., F - Springfield, Mass.)
Pelletier was brilliant in AIC's opening weekend draws with No. 19 Post and Wilmington, scoring a goal in both contests. His tally against the Wildcats tied the game for AIC.
Younes Addar Khanoussi, Franklin Pierce (Gr., F - Castellon, Spain)
Addar Khanoussi scored two goals in a 3-0 season-opening win for Franklin Pierce - the reigning NCAA Division II champion - over Queens (NY).
Gianluca Cersosimo, New Haven (Gr., GK - Buenes Aires, Argentina)
In his debut for the Chargers, Cerasimo completed a 90-minute win against in-state rival Bridgeport, collecting eight saves against the Purple Knights. Overall, he faced 15 shots from Bridgeport, nine of which were marked on goal.
Adam Lindstrom, New Haven (Jr., M - Orbero, Sweden)
Lindstrom led the Chargers to a season-opening win scoring a pair of goals against in-state rival Bridgeport. His first goal of the game came as the equalizer in the 51st minute when the Chargers were awarded a PK with the junior striker converting the opportunity. Later that half, he scored the game-winner on an unassisted scramble at the mouth of the goal.
Zico Groenveld, Southern Conn. St. (So., F - Aalsmeer, Netherlands)
In a 1-0-1 week that featured a 2-0 win against Dominican and a 1-1 tie with Bridgeport, Groenveld totaled a goal and two assists, factoring into all three of the Owls' goals for the week. Against Dominican, it was Groenveld off the corner to set-up Jacob Rose before a cross later in the game resulted in a Tyler Doherty goal. Against Bridgeport, he took a pass from Jalen Jean, split a pair of defenders and slid the game's first goal past the Bridgeport keeper to give Southern a 1-0 lead.
Devin Juan, Southern Conn. St. (Jr., GK - Meriden, Conn.)
In a 1-0-1 week, Juan logged all 180 minutes in goal, finishing with a shutout against Dominican with six saves. Against Bridgeport, Juan stopped four shots on goal, while the lone goal scored by the Purple Knights came off a PK. For the week, he averaged 5.00 saves per game while posting a .909 save percentage (10-for-11) with a 0.50 goals-against average.
Luca Shubitidze, Southern N.H. (Jr., M - Leipzig, Germany)
Shubitidze notched three points on a goal and an assist during SNHU's 2-0 week, with both scoring plays coming in Sunday's 2-0 triumph over Jefferson. Shubitidze set up the game's first goal in the 25th minute and then made it 2-0 with a penalty kick strike just 1:42 before halftime.
