NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Katherine Marsh, Adelphi
Senior | East Meadow, N.Y.

Katherine Marsh ran the third fastest time in NCAA Division II this weekend in the 800m event, clocking in at 2:08.57 to win her heat at the David Hemery Valentine Invite, hosted by Boston University. Her time also sets a new Adelphi program record, beating her own record by three seconds. Marsh was also the anchor leg of the women's DMR that set an Adelphi record.


NE10 Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Kristen Washington, New Haven
Graduate Student | New Haven, Conn.

In her only event of the week, Washington took home third place honors at the Fastrack National Invitational on Staten Island. Among a field of 33 finishers, Washington hit a distance of 11.67 meters, her second best leap of the indoor season.


NE10 Women's Track Rookie of the Week

Maggie McInerney, Southern N.H.
Freshman | Acton, Mass.

Freshman Maggie McInerney set a new PR in the 200m at 26.05 at BU's David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday. She also just missed a PR while running the 60H in 10.04 seconds.


NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week

Gabrielle Teel, New Haven
Freshman | Willow Grove, Pa.

In her lone event of the week, Teel finished with a personal best distance in the triple jump, hitting a mark of 11.26 meters and finishing the event ninth among a field of 33 finishers at the Fastrack National Invitational in Staten Island.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

Distance Medley Relay, Adelphi

The women's distance medley relay of Grace Minikel, Gabrielle Griffin, Isabel Marsh and Katherine Marsh ran the second best time in the East Region this weekend, at 11:54.74 to also set a new Adelphi program record in the specialty. Currently they rank 24th across all of NCAA Division II with their provisional mark.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Nyjah Young-Bey, Franklin Pierce (Sr. - Montclair, N.J.)
Senior runner Nyjah Young-Bey was one of the top performers for the Franklin Pierce women's indoor team this past weekend, as she competed at the 2023 Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Through the two-day event, Young-Bey claimed 43rd overall out of a field of 231 racers in the Women's 400-Meter, crossing the finish line with a 56.77 time.

Ashley Corcoran, Southern New Hampshire (Jr. - Billerica, Mass.)
Corcoran broke her own program record in the mile run at BU's David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday, finishing 66th in a very competitive field. Her time of 4:48.19 ranks as the 11th fastest in the nation for the distance among D2 athletes.
