Four NE10 Players Earn WBCA All-America Recognition.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Saint Anselm's Shannon Ryan received multiple All-American honors from the Women's Basketball Coaches' Association (WBCA) and Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) on Monday, highlighting a group of four women's basketball student-athletes to represent the Northeast-10 Conference among the honorees.

Ryan, the NE10 and East Region Player of the Year, earned her first-career nods to the WBCA All-America Team and the D2CCA All-America First Team after a dominant season with the Hawks. She scored 23.0 points per game, seventh-most in Division II, and 15.0 rebounds per game, third-most in the nation.

Additionally, Adelphi's Leonie Edringer, Le Moyne's McKayla Roberts and Stonehill's Kayla Raymond earned WBCA All-America Honorable Mentions. All three were on the NE10 All-Conference First Team and earned D2CCA All-East Region honors.

Ryan earns her first-career nod as an All-American after becoming Saint Anselm's all-time leading scorer this season in just three years with the team. She established new single-season records with the Hawks in points scored (643) and rebounds (419).

The Plattsburgh, N.Y. native also led all active Division II student-athletes this season in defensive rebounds per game (11.0), double-doubles (26) and field goals made (271). Career-wise, she leads active players in double-doubles (64) and rebounding average (12.1).

Ryan becomes just the second player in Saint Anselm history to be named to the WBCA All-America Team, and the first in 35 years. Rachel Jackson, a 1985 graduate, was the last to accomplish the feat for the Hawks.

Edringer averaged a team-high 15.1 points per game this season for nationally-ranked Adelphi, which went 27-3 this season and earned the right to host the NCAA East Regional. Her 9.6 rebounds per contest were also a team-best and she recorded 14 double-doubles this season.

Roberts had another sensational year for the Dolphins, leading them to the NE10 semifinals. She averaged 17.6 points and 5.7 assists per game, both good for third-best in the league. Roberts became the NE10's all-time three-point field goal leader, wrapping-up her career with 297 made baskets from long range.

Raymond, the NE10 Championship Most Outstanding Player, led Stonehill with 16.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game – ranking in the top 10 in both league categories. She had 17 points and seven rebounds in the championship game against Saint Anselm, leading the Skyhawks to their sixth NE10 title in program history.
