NE10 Player of the Week

Kelly-Ann McGrath, Adelphi
Senior | Midfield | Franklin Square, N.Y.

In a 2-0 week for Adelphi, McGrath was responsible for eight goals and two assists on offense, making it possible with her 16 draw control wins. On the other side of the ball she accounted for five caused turnovers and three ground balls. Her best game of the week was a high scoring affair against SNHU where she scored five times, added two helpers and won a team-leading 13 draw controls.


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Erin Doyle, Saint Anselm
Senior | Defense | Weymouth, Mass.

Doyle produced four caused turnovers, four draw controls, and three ground balls against No.1 Pace during a narrow home loss on Wednesday. She led the No. 23 Saint Anselm defense with her four draw controls and three ground balls to help the Hawks become the first conference opponent to hold the Setters to under 10 goals this season. Doyle also won a season-high eight draw controls versus Southern Conn. St. on Saturday along with a caused turnover and ground ball.


NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Samantha Tanguay, Pace
Sophomore | Goalkeeper | Baldwinsville, N.Y.

Tanguay resided over two ranked wins for No. 1 Pace. She allowed six goals, including no goals in the second and fourth quarter, to help Pace take down No. 23 Saint Anselm while making seven saves. Against No. 18 Bentley, she allowed eight goals and made nine saves. Overall for the week, she had a 53.3 save percentage with 16 saves on 30 shots.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Ashley Kolomechuk, Adelphi
Freshman | Attack | Commack, N.Y.

Kolomechuk led the Adelphi rookies in points this week, accounting for five on three goals and two assists. Her lone goal against New Haven was a converted free position shot, earning her a perfect shot-on-goal percentage in the game. 


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll  

Fiona Rafferty, Adelphi (Gr., M - Long Beach, N.Y.)
Adelphi went 2-0 this week with Rafferty anchoring a defense that held No. 22 New Haven to single-digit scoring. In each of the wins she caused a pair of turnovers and collected nine ground balls over two games.

Isabelle Edwards, Assumption (Sr., M - Gloustershire, England)
Edwards was a defensive stalwart for the Greyhounds, as they racked up two wins on the week. At Saint Rose on Monday, she had four ground balls, six draw controls, and four caused turnovers. Edwards capped off the week with two draw controls. She headlines an Assumption defense that has allowed seven goals or fewer in three-straight games and four of the last five.

Katelynn Johnston, Assumption (Jr., A - Port Jefferson, N.Y.)
Johnston tallied seven goals, and two assists in two wins for Assumption on the week. She logged four goals and two assists at Saint Rose in a 14-7 win over the Golden Knights. Johnston capped off the week with three goals against American International, in the Greyhounds' 18-3 decisive win. She has now recorded her seventh and eighth-straight game with three or or more points.  

Amanda Davis, Bentley (Jr., A - Saunderstown, R.I.)
Davis was highly efficient by scoring on all nine of her shots in two games last week. She had six goals in a 19-6 win at Saint Michael's and scored on all three of her shots on Saturday against No. 1 Pace. 

Gabby Buscemi, New Haven (Sr., GK - East Patchogue, N.Y.)
In a pair of games last week, Buscemi racked up 13 saves, playing seven of the eight quarters on the week. She opened up the week with nine saves in a home game against Adelphi and closed out the week with four saves in a Senior Day win over Franklin Pierce.

Katie Schenk, New Haven (Sr., M - Southbury, Conn.)
In a 1-1 week for the Chargers, Schenk led all of New Haven offensively with eight points coming on seven goals and an assist. She opened up the week with three goals and an assist against Adelphi, with two of those goals on free position attempts. She then was one of two players to lead the way with four goals against Franklin Pierce. In addition to her scoring, she also added 10 draw controls, 2 ground balls and 1 caused turnover combined on the week. 

Angelina Porcello, Pace (Sr., M - Eastchester, N.Y.)
Porcello took over the fourth quarter in Pace's triumph over No. 23 Saint Anselm. With the game tied at 6-6 with around 10 minutes left, Porcello scored three-straight unassisted goals to send Pace off with a 9-6 win. To go along with four goals, she added two ground balls, three draws and five caused turnovers. Against No. 18 Bentley, she three goals and assisted on one more. She continued to stuff the stat sheet with four draws, two ground balls and one caused turnover.  

Isabella Stuzynski, Saint Anselm (Sr., M - Bedford, Mass.)
Stuzynski capped off an impressive week for No. 23 Saint Anselm scoring six goals and dishing out four assists for 10 points across two games. She netted a hat trick against No. 1 Pace in a narrow 9-6 home loss and later notched another hat trick versus Southern Conn. St., her third hat trick of the season, along with four assists for seven points. She is now tied for third in the league with 32 total assists so far this year. 

Daria Bock, Saint Rose (Sr., M - New Fairfield, Conn.)
Bock netted 10 goals and tallied four assists in three games this week for the Golden Knights. She also forced three turnovers and won eight draw controls.

Shelby Cole, Southern N.H. (Sr., A - Gilford, N.H.)
Cole registered 12 points on six goals and six assists, while gathering three ground balls, during a 1-1 week for SNHU. Cole erupted for a season-high nine points on five goals and a season-best four assists in Wednesday's 21-8 win at Saint Rose. She then added a goal, two assists and three ground balls in a 21-15 loss at third-ranked Adelphi on Saturday.
