New Haven, Conn. - Day Two of the 2012 Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships is underway from New Haven on the campus of Southern Connecticut State University.

Women's 4x100 Meter Relay
The UMass Lowell relay team of Taelour Murphy, Nicole Giaquinto, Ashley Zielinski and Diamond Jones took first place with a time of 47.42. So. Connecticut was second (48.16) while New Haven took third (49.12).

Men's 4x100 Meter Relay
The American International relay team of Maurica Calenda, Dominic Smith, Horatio Pinnock and Dennis Stephenson placed first with a time of 41.72. So. Connecticut finished second (42.21) and Stonehill third (42.59).

Women's Shot Put
UMass Lowell's Candace Green placed first in the shot put at 14.10 meters (46 ft, 3.25 in.). Sanya Foster of American Int'l was second (13.88m) and Elizabeth Bashit of So. Connecticut was third (13.00 m).

Women's 3000 Meter Steeplechase
Kristen Veit of Stonehill was first with a time of 11:13.82. Adelphi's Larissa Melendez was second (11:14.16) and Saint Rose's Patty Massa (11:44.36) was third.

Men's 3000 Steeplechase
Jason Phillips of American Int'l won with a time of 9:07.99, setting a new NE-10 mark. Stonehill's Ethan Penney was second (9:14.56) and Joseph Poulsen of So. Connecticut was third (9:34.16).

Women's 1500 Meter Run
Bentley's Amy Varsell placed first (4:33.97) and set a new NE-10 record in the process, while Jeptui Cherutich of American Int'l was second (4:38.96) and Emily Anderson of Stonehill third (4:40.04).

Men's 1500 Meter Run
Angus McDonald of UMass Lowell was first with a time of 3:47.29, which set a new NE-10 record in the event. Placing second was American Int'l's Jeremy Antivo (3:48.49) and third was Brian Nill of So. Connecticut (3:49.82).

Men's Shot Put
So. Connecticut Enis Bukalo placed first with a toss of 16.20 meters (53 ft, 1.75 in). Bukalo's teammate, Michael Cameron, was second (15.41m) and UMass Lowell's Devin O'Neil was third (14.69m).

Men's 110 Meter Hurdles
Xavier Harris-Dixon of Stonehill was first (14.75), Nick Lebron of So. Connecticut was second (15.03) and Keith Lewis of UMass Lowell third (15.08).

Women's 100 Meter Hurdles
UMass Lowell's Ashley Zielinski placed first with a time of 14.34. Cassandra Bennett of American Int'l was second (14.80) and Elisabeth Monty of UMass Lowell was third (14.84).

Women 400 Meter Dash
Maria Curit of Stonehill took first with a time of 56.58. Second was Jessica Razy of Saint Rose (56.84) and third was Nyoshee Lowry of So. Connecticut (57.51).

Women's Triple Jump
Briana Conyers of New Haven was first at 11.74 meters. Placing second was Soroya Hudson of Saint Rose (11.53m). Third was UMass Lowell's Rachel Surette (11.0m).

Men's 400 Meter Dash
Mychael Fabio of Adelphi set a new NE-10 record with a time of 46.69, surpassing UMass Lowell's Evan White (46.71) from the 2011 Championships. Dennis Stephenson of American Int'l was second (47.73) and David Lewis of Adelphi was third (49.55).

Men's 100 Meter Dash
Ryan Saunders of Saint Rose took first with a time of 10.82. Twayne Forth of So. Connecticut placed second (10.84) and Kevin Downing of New Haven was third (10.88).

Women's 100 Meter Dash
So. Connecticut's Ashley Bell set the fifth new NE-10 record of the day, taking first in the 100 with a time of 11.91, shattering the previous mark of 12.13 set by New Haven's Shannon Gagne in 2009. Zielinski was second for UMass Lowell (12.19) and Alexandra Wheaton of American Int'l (12.41) was third.

Women's 800 Meter Run
Bentley's Varsell set her second NE-10 record of the afternoon, placing first with a time of 2:11.98 in the 800 meter, breaking the old mark of 2:14.24. Stonehill's Christen Carrier also eclipsed the previous record with a time of 2:13.85 for second place. Sarah Wilson of Stonehill finished third (2:14.61).

Men's 800 Meter Run
So. Connecticut's Josh Perry set a new NE-10 record with a time of 1:51.72, eclipsing the 1:53.08 mark set by Saint Rose's Tyler Gantz in 2010. Curtis Johnson, who finished second, also eclipsed Gantz's record with a time of 1:52.97. So. Connecticut's Brian Robbins finished third (1:53.09).

Women's 400 Meter Hurdles
Antoinette Toussaint of UMass Lowell set a new NE-10 mark (1:01.63). Teammates Elisabeth Monty (1:03.527) and Erika Shay (1:03.530) finished second and third.

Men's Pole Vault
Justin Escaravage of So. Connecticut places first (4.80m). Teammate Nelson Laskoski places second (4.70m); Kevin McCann of Stonehill in third (4.25m).

Men's 400 Meter Hurdles
Keith Lewis of UMass Lowell finishes first (53.09). American Int'l's Horatio Pinnock came in second (53.78) and Saint Rose's Umar Hasan was third (54.62).

Women's 200 Meter Dash
Bell of So. Connecticut claimed the top spot with a finish time of 24.43. UMass Lowell's Nicole Giaquinto was second at 25.07 and Lowry of So. Connecticut was third at 25.36.

Men's 200 Meter Dash
Adelphi's Fabio was first with a time of 21.64. Placing second was American Int'l's Dennis Stephenson while Ryan Saunders of Saint Rose took third (21.89).

Women's Discus Throw
Junior Sanya Foster of American Int'l set a new Northeast-10 record in the discus with a throw of 44.39 meters, breaking the 2009 mark of 42.75 meters, set by So. Connecticut's Yvonne Perkins. Placing second was So. Connecticut's Samantha Spindel (41.73m). In third was Shraya Manick of New Haven (41.33m).

Men's Triple Jump
American Int'l's Maurice Calenda was first in the triple jump with a leap of 14.42 meters. Second was Michael Lee of So. Connecticut (14.38m); third was Herby Saintill of Stonehill (14.06m).

Women's 5000 Meter Run
Adelphi sophomore Betsy Eickelberg set a new Northeast-10 record with a time of 17:59.93 to break a four-year old mark. Kristen Mahoney of Stonehill was second (18:04.53) and Anne Bajor of Merrimack was third (18:18.77).

Men's 5000 Meter Run
Andrew Coelho of Adelphi finished first with a time of 14:56.87. Steve Polito of Stonehill was second (15:01.46) and Paul Cina of Stonehill was third (15:07.51).

Women's 4x800 Meter Relay
The Stonehill 'A' relay team of Emily Anderson, Erin Reilly, Maura Ferrarini and Elizabeth LaRegina set the new NE-10 record with a time of 9:24.99. UMass Lowell was second (9:32.78) and So. Connecticut was third at 9:40.20. All three marks broke the previous NE-10 record of 9:40.42, set by Stonehill in 2009.

Men's 4x800 Meter Relay
The American Int'l 'A' relay team of Jonathan Hortsman, James Mee, Jeremy Antivo and Curtis Johnson also set a new NE-10 record of 7:44.61, breakiung the 2010 mark of 7:45.26, which was set by So. Connecticut. UMass Lowell was second (7:45.47) and Stonehill was third (7:48.15).

Women's Pole Vault
Michelle Grecni of So. Connecticut finished first and set a NE-10 record (3.62 meters) in the women's pole vault, eclipsing the old mark of 3.50 meters, set in 2009 by the Owls' Sasha Mathelier. Teammate Kimberly Johnson was second (3.35m) and Stonehill's Meaghan Olin was third (2.90m).

Women 4x400 Meter Relay
The UMass Lowell A relay team finished first with a time of 3:53.96. So. Connecticut was second (3:55.53) and Stonehill was third (3:56.49).

Men's 4x400 meter relay
So. Connecticut finished first with a time of 3:18.18. Second was Adelphi (3:19.26) and third was UMass Lowell (3:19.88).
