NE10 Men's Track & Field Teams of the Week: Franklin Pierce, Stonehill

NE10 Men's Track & Field Teams of the Week: Franklin Pierce, Stonehill

Each week for the remainder of the spring we will honor the seniors from two NE10 men's track & field programs as our teams of the week for each player's dedication to their program and teammates.

Franklin Pierce

Head Coach Zach Emerson on his senior class – "This year's senior class really set the tone for our entire program on what it takes to be all-around successful student-athletes. Over the last four years our team's culminative GPA soared, our team's hours of community service nearly quadrupled, and the collective work ethic on and off the track was taken to all new heights. My coaching staff and I cannot thank this group of seniors enough for their focus, determination, resilience and leadership over these last four years. They have left an indelible mark on the program that will last for many years to come and have left very big shoes to fill."

Overall this group finished sixth or fifth at the NE10 Indoor Championships in three of their four seasons.

Stonehill

Head Coach Mike Delgado on his senior class – "This group of seniors, while small, was a great group of leaders and supplied lot of guidance to the rest of our young team. They provided valuable scoring throughout their careers, but most recently their guidance of their younger teammates was most valuable."
