NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Rebecca Cady, Saint Anselm
Sophomore | Lowell, Mass.

On Friday at the Joe Donahue Games Opener, Cady secured a seventh-place finish in the 60-meter dash clocking in at 8.11. She also finished seventh overall in the 300-meter dash with a time of 41.57 to earn the top Division II finish in both races


NE10 Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Laila Bunnitt, Southern N.H.
Senior | Lewiston, M.E

Bunnitt opened her indoor season with a fourth-place throw in both the shot put and weight throw at Saturday's Dartmouth December Invite. Her 11.75m throw in the shot was the best by an NE10 athlete so far this season. Her weight throw of 14.63m was a new PR.


NE10 Women's Track Rookie of the Week

Leticia DoNascimento, Southern Connecticut
Freshman | Naugatuck, Conn.

At the Art Kadish Elm City Classic, first-year Owl Leticia DoNascimento finished second in the 600 Meter Run with a time of 1:44.04, which tied for the 15th-fastest time of the year, nationally. Among the NE10 ranks, it was the third-fastest time of the season, behind her own time and a teammate's time from last week.


NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week

Kayla Esposito, Adelphi
Freshman | Seaford, N.Y.

Esposito also competed in the long jump, but excelled in the triple jump, where her first attempt of 10.53 meters was good enough to finish fifth in the field at the Elm City Challenge. After this weekend of action, her finish stands as the top distance among freshmen in the NE10.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

4x200 Relay, Assumption

The grouping of Alexandra Rippstein, Camille Lopez, Jada McCown, and Audrey Strmiska finished first in the women's 4x200m relay. The quadruplet tripped the timer at 1:44.93.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Katherine Marsh, Adelphi (Gr., 800m - East Meadow, N.Y.)
Posting an NCAA provisional mark alongside her sister, Katherine Marsh placed second in a time of 2:10.02 in the 800 meter race, behind the top finisher out of Divison I, Tulsa over the weekend. The East Meadow, N.Y. native competed at the Crimson and Gold Invitational at Pittsburg State (host of the 2024 Indoor Track and Field Championship) and two weeks into the indoor season, holds the top time in the 800 in all of the conference, region and Division II.

Madison Lupino, Assumption (So. Coventry, R.I)
Lupino set a new personal best in the weighted throw, as she finished second in the event with a throw of 14.40m (47' 3") at the Beacon Relays on Sunday.

Audrey Strmiska, Assumption (Sr., Canterbury, Conn.)
Strmiska had three top-four finishes at the Beacon Relays on Sunday. She was the anchor leg of the 4x200m relay, which took first (1:44.93) before taking fourth in the 60m (8.02). She wrapped up her day with a second-place finish in the shot put with a distance of 9.80m (32' 2").

Tyra Felton, Franklin Pierce (Sr., Sterling, Mass.)
On Saturday, the Franklin Pierce track & field program competed at the USM Alumni Open. At the event, Tyra Felton excelled in two events including the shotput where she threw 11.69 which is currently ranked 2nd best in the conference. In the weighted throw, Felton threw 13.7 which is currently 5th in the conference.

Lidya Belanger, Saint Anselm (Fr., Amesbury, Mass.)
In the 60-meter hurdles, Belanger was the top finisher for the Hawks after capturing eighth place with a time of 10.02. She also recorded the second-best time out of the Division II competitors in the event.

Ava Houle, Saint Anselm (Fr., Litchfield, N.H.)
Houle secured a first-place finish out of collegiate competitors in the triple jump event with a mark of 10.21 meters on Friday at the Joe Donahue Games Opener. She also claimed fourth place in the long jump with a mark of 5.04 meters.

Brianne Rett, Saint Anselm (So., Uxbridge, Mass.)
Rett was the top Division II performer in the shot put event on Friday at the Joe Donahue Games Opener after earning a mark of 10.94 meters which was good for seventh place. That mark currently ranks her fifth best in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Kisha Francois, Southern Connecticut (Jr., East Haven, Conn.)
Francois was the lone Owl to win both a track and field event at this weekend's Art Kadish Elm City Classic. Francois posted a time of 25.45 to win the 200 Meter Run and also had a time of 7.28 to finish second in the 55 Meters. Her time in the 55M also stands as the second-best time of the season in NCAA Division II this year. She then followed with a win in the Long Jump with a distance of 5.55 Meters.

Ella Maclean, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Hanover, N.H.)
At the Art Kadish Elm City Classic, Ella Maclean won the 55 Meter Run with a NCAA Division II best 7.08, which was also a personal best time. She then followed with a second-place finish in the 200 Meters with a time of 25.69.

Maggie McInerney, Southern N.H (So., Acton, Mass.)
McInerney set new PR's for the 60H (9.82) and shot put (7.93m) while competing in the pentathlon at the Dartmouth December Invite. She finished 6th overall. On Saturday, she finished fourth in the 60H at Dartmouth with a 9.96.
