NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Katherine Marsh, Adelphi
Graduate Student | East Meadow, N.Y.

Marsh moved back to the #1 spot in NCAA Division II for her 2:08.72 time in the 800 at the David Hemery Valentine Invite in Boston - she placed 44th overall (believed to be top D2 finisher) and won her section, defeating competition from Boston, Maryland and Georgetown. Additionally, she anchored the DMR school record with a 1600m split of 4:46.77, hitting another NCAA provisional time of 11:37 - which is 10th in D2 after the weekend.


NE10 Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Valencia Beaubrun, Adelphi
Sophomore | Bayshore, N.Y.

Beabrun put a person best mark in the long jump invitational at the Fastrack National Invite at Ocean Breeze on Friday. Her distance of 5.59m was the longest of the weekend in the NE10 and ranks third in the conference.


NE10 Women's Track Rookie of the Week

Carly Koprowski, Adelphi
Freshman | Wantagh, N.Y.

Koprowski ran a season-best 2:17 in the 800, which ranks third in the NE10 behind teammates Isabel and Katherine Marsh. She also ran a 58.56 split on the 400 leg of the NCAA qualifying DMR.


NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week

Lindsey Wilson, Adelphi
Freshman | Peabody, Mass.

Wilson cleared 1.55m for her third best height this season at the Fastrack National Invite, placing 10th overall in the invitational section.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

4x400 Relay, Southern Connecticut State
The Owls' 4x400 Relay team of Hannah Caiola, Ella Maclean, Kisha Francois and Avery Winters finished fifth with a season-best time of 3:46.00 at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational, which is also the third-fastest time of the year in the NCAA.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Caitlin Burmester, Bentley (Jr., Willow Grove, Penn.)
Burmester ran a personal best time in the one mile at 5:06.08 at the BU Valentine Invitational on Friday.

Rebecca Cady, Saint Anselm (So., Lowell, Mass.)
Cady finished with a time of 25.72 in the 400-meter dash on Friday at the David Hemery Valentine Invite to place 68th out of 221 runners. She currently ranks fifth overall in the Northeast-10 Conference with a time of 25.62 in the event.

Anyelina Martinez, Saint Anselm (So., Atkinson, N.H.)
Martinez posted a 5:01.43 in the mile on Friday at the David Hemery Valentine Invite hosted by Boston University. Her time in the mile puts her first overall in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Courtney Henchcliffe, Southern Connecticut State (Jr., Hanover, N.H.)
At the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational, Henchcliffe clocked a 10:04.14 for 46th place out of 96 in the 3,000 Meter Run, breaking the 15-year-old program record set by Laura Brustolon of 10:04.44 in 2009.

Ella Maclean, Southern Connecticut State (Jr., Hanover, N.H.)
At the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational, Maclean had a strong showing in the 200 Meter Dash with a 14th place finish out of 224 with a season-best time of 24.90. In addition, she was apart of the 4x400 Relay team that finished fifth with a season-best 3:46.00 which is also the third-fastest time of the year in the NCAA.
