NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Hannah Caiola, Southern Connecticut State
Sophomore | Glastonbury, Conn.

At the Jack Maloney Invitational, Caiola hit NE10 season-leading marks in the 200 Meters and 400 Meters events, with her 400 Meter time ranked in the Top 10 nationally. With her win in the 200 Meters with a time of 24.41, Caiola passed three other Owls for the NE10's top times this season. The 400-meter event produced a time of 53.61 for the top NE10 time of the season by over 5 1/2 seconds and the seventh-best time in NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field this year.


NE10 Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Kristen Washington, New Haven
Graduate l New Haven, Conn.

The Chargers leading jumper, Washington took home two medals in her two events at the Jack Maloney Invitational, winning the long jump and the triple jump - setting an NCAA provisional mark in both events. She also set a new personal best in one of those events - the triple jump with a distance of 12.23m (40'1.5")


NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week

Harmony Marquez, Saint Anselm
Sophomore l Rutherford, N.J.

Marquez threw 40.98 meters in the javelin throw event on Saturday at the George Davis Invitational to secure fourth place for Saint Anselm. Her mark is now the second-best throw in the conference standings.


NE10 Women's Track Rookie of the Week

Deirdre Bailat, SNHU
Freshman l Billerica, Mass.

Bailat finished sixth in the 5000m run at the George Davis Invitational in Lowell on Saturday. Her time of 18:23.01 was a career-best.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

4x100 Southern Connecticut State
At the Jack Maloney Invitational, the Owls' "A" relay of Avery Winters, Megan Swan, Kisha Francois and Ella Maclean came in first place with a time of 47.03 for the second-best time in the NE10 this season.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Molly Capece, Bentley (Fr., Easton, Mass.)
Capece won the 3000 meter race at UMass Lowell on Saturday. In a field with numerous Division I runners, she won by more than 17 seconds, with a time of 10:38.31.

Amari Johnson, Adelphi (Jr., Mooresville, N.C.)
Johnson ran the best time in the East Region for the 100 hurdles at the Virginia Challenge, hosted by the University of Virginia. In a Division I heavy field, she ran a 14.38 into a negative headwind to placed 20th overall.

Carly Koprowski, Adelphi (Fr., Wantaugh, N.Y.)
Koprowski ran a 2:15.46 at the Virginia Challenge open 800 event, placing 31st in a Division I-heavy field. Falling two seconds short of her best time this season, she still ranks ahead of the next competitor in the NE10 with that time.

Aniya Bush, New Haven (Fr., Williamstown, N.J.)
In three events at this weekends Jack Maloney Invitational, Bush had a pair of top three finishes, one individually and one as a relay. Individually, she posted a third place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, while finishing second as a member of the 4x100 meter relay. She also ran the 200-meter dash, setting a new personal best in that event with a time of 27.19.

Jada Kamtha, New Haven (Fr., St. Catherine, Jamaica)
The rookie jumper set a personal best in the long jump at this weekend's Jack Maloney Invitational with a distance of 5.68m (18'7.75), taking third place in the event. She was also a part of the second place finishing 4x100-meter relay.

Meredith Pasquarosa, Saint Anselm (Fr., Beverly, Mass.)
Pasquarosa captured second place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.56 for Saint Anselm on Saturday at the George Davis Invitational. She also claimed fifth overall in the 100-meter dash clocking in at 12.64. Her 25.56 time in the 200-meter dash places her seventh overall in the event in the conference standings.

Celine Bozukluian, Southern Connecticut State (Fr., Turnbull, Conn.)
At the Jack Maloney Invitational, Bozukluian won the Hammer Throw event with a mark of 45.32m, which is the second-best distance of the season in the NE10.

Belle Smith, Southern Connecticut State (Fr., Torrington, Conn.)
At the Jack Maloney Invitational, Smith came in first place in the Shot Put with a throw of 11.54 meters which was a season-best, came in second place in the Discus with a PR throw of 37.54 meters and fifth in the Hammer Throw at 39.82 meters.

Kayla Franks, SNHU (Fr., Derry, N.H.)
Franks had a career-best throw in the javelin at Saturday's George Davis Invitational in Lowell, Mass. Her 40.55m placed her sixth overall and was the third-best throw in the East Region this season.

Kelsey Seamans, SNHU (Sr., Methuen, Mass.)
Seamans ran third in the 5000m at the George Davis Invitational Saturday in Lowell. Her time of 18:19.53 was third-best in the East Region this season.
