FOOTBALL
Franklin Pierce at Assumption: Sunday, Oct. 9 – 12:00 p.m. (Live Stats – Video)
INTERESTING FACT: Assumption will host Franklin Pierce on Sunday at Polar Park - the home of the Worcester Red Sox, the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. The Greyhounds and Ravens played to overtime during the 2021 season, with Assumption coming out victorious by a 35-28 margin.
FIELD HOCKEY
Bentley at St. Thomas Aquinas: Saturday, Oct. 8 – 12:00 p.m. (Live Stats – Video)
INTERESTING FACT: When STAC hosts Bentley on Saturday, it will be a game between two teams that qualified for the NE10 Field Hockey Championship in 2021. Since joining the NE10 as an associate member ahead of the 2019 season, the Spartans have qualified for the NE10 Championship in both years (2019 and 2021).
MEN'S SOCCER
No. 2 Franklin Pierce at American International: Saturday, Oct. 8 – 6:00 p.m. (Live Stats – Video)
INTERESTING FACT: It is an NE10 Championship rematch when No. 2 Franklin Pierce visits American International on Saturday evening. Franklin Pierce outlasted AIC, 2-1, in the 2021 NE10 Championship final on a snowy night in Rindge, N.H., to capture its fourth league title in program history.
WOMEN'S SOCCER
No. 9 Saint Rose at Southern New Hampshire: Saturday, Oct. 8 – 4:00 p.m. (Live Stats – Video)
INTERESTING FACT: The last two NE10 regular season champions will meet when Southern New Hampshire welcomes No. 9 Saint Rose to Manchester, N.H., on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Knights - the 2021 NCAA Division II national runners-up - are undefeated in league play this season (5-0-2), but the Penmen hold a slight advantage in the last five meetings with Saint Rose (2-1-2).
VOLLEYBALL
New Haven at Southern Connecticut: Saturday, Oct. 8 – 3:00 p.m. (Live Stats – Video)
INTERESTING FACT: The Elm City Rivalry will be in effect when New Haven travels across town to play Southern Connecticut in non-conference action. The Chargers and Owls have both qualified for the NE10 Volleyball Championship in each of the past four years and will compete once again this season for postseason berths.
