NE10 Unveils Academic Honor Roll for 2023 Spring Semester

443 Student-Athletes Record 4.0 GPA.


MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference announced that 64-percent of its overall student-athlete body has been selected to the Academic Honor Roll following the 2023 spring semester, as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon. 

Among its 13 member and four associate member institutions, the Conference recognized 3,770 student-athletes (64%) for their academic achievements. The Academic Honor Roll (AHR) acknowledges the commitment of NE10 student-athletes to excel in the classroom with three designations: Academic Excellence (4.0 GPA), Academic Distinction (3.50-3.99 GPA) and Academic Honors (3.00-3.49). 

12 of 13 NE10 full member institutions had at least 50-percent of their student-athletes earn AHR status. Four institutions reached 70% or higher, while nine had at least 60% of their student-athletes recognized. 

Pace had a league-high 83.2% of its student-athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll, while Bentley ranked second with 82.7% and Adelphi was third at 79.5%. Le Moyne (74.6%) and Saint Rose (66.6%) round-out the top five.

Among the 3,770 student-athletes honored, there were 443 that fell in the Academic Excellence category by earning a perfect 4.0 grade-point average (GPA) in the spring semester. Franklin Pierce led all institutions with 55 student-athletes that earned a 4.0 GPA. 

Bentley had the highest number of total honorees with 410, while Assumption was second (341) and Adelphi was third (321). The sport of football had a league-high 384 athletes recognized, while women's soccer led all female sports with 333. 

The NE10 had eight sports produce 200 or more student-athletes with a minimum 3.0 GPA in the spring semester. Five institutions saw increases in their percentage of honorees compared to the 2022 spring semester. Four of 24 sports saw a boost in their total numbers.
