NE10 Offensive Player of the Week
Mark Waid, Bentley

In a 38-7 win over Saint Anselm Saturday, Waid threw five touchdown passes while completing 13 of 20 passes for 232 yards. He had an outstanding passing rating of 224.94, 59 rushing yards on 11 carries, and was intercepted twice. The recipient of this week's Gold Helmet, he distributed passes to nine different receivers and the touchdowns covered 59, 1, 14, 5 and 7 yards. All this came against a Saint Anselm team that came into the game at 4-1 and ranked first in the NE10 in scoring defense (10.4).
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Christian Lanzalotto, Bentley

Lanzalotto played a major role as Bentley took down Saint Anselm, 38-7, on Saturday as he was all over the field with two interceptions, 40 return yards, five tackles, 1.5 tackles for losses and three pass break-ups. Both of his interceptions, one in the final minute of the first half and the second in fourth, led to Falcon touchdowns. The Bentley defense contained the Hawks, who had averaged 334.8 yards and 28.4 points in its first five games, to 186 yards total offense and a fourth-quarter TD.

Alex Benitez, Franklin Pierce

Benitez punted eight times, for an average of 39.3 yards on Sunday, in a 28-14 loss at Assumption. He put three of his punts inside the 20 and forced a pair of fair catches. He uncorked a program-record 71-yard punt in the third quarter.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Jake Cady, Assumption (Sr., QB - Saint Johnsbury, Vt.)
Cady combined for 273 all-purpose yards, which included 188 through the air (19-for-32 passing) and 85 yards on the ground with four touchdowns, in Assumption's 28-14 win over Franklin Pierce at Polar Park on Sunday. The senior signal caller is now tied for the conference lead with five rushing touchdowns. His four rushing touchdowns against FPU are tied for the second most in a single game in Division II this year.
Mason Campbell, Bentley (Jr., K - Naples, Fla.)
Campbell remained the conference's leading scorer by adding eight points to his total (48) during a 38-7 win over Saint Anselm. He was perfect on his five extra point kicks and also made a 27-yard field goal. Campbell also kicked off seven times.
EJ Burgess, Franklin Pierce (Sr., RB - Pearland, Texas)
Rushed for 71 yards and a score on 19 carries, for an average of 3.7 yards per rush, in a 28-14 loss at Assumption on Sunday.
Connor Degenhardt, New Haven (Gr., QB - Westford, Mass.)
Degenhardt was on target on Saturday, connecting on 12-of-17 pass attempts (70.6%) for 159 yards and three touchdowns, with his longest of the day a 37 yard connection with Dev Holmes. In addition, he ran for 16 yards, including a 13-yard pickup.
David Onyemem, New Haven (Gr., LB - Dracut, Mass.)
Onyemem led New Haven's defensive for yet another week, racking up eight tackles and returning a fumble recovery 71 yards to set up a two-yard touchdown pass to Dante DeLorenzo. Among his eight tackles, were six solo stops, while his fumble recovery came on a forced fumble by Chisom Okoro.
Liam Flynn, Saint Anselm (Sr., LB - Hanover, Mass.)
Flynn posted a career-high 13 tackles against Bentley on Saturday, adding one-and-a-half tackles for three yards in total. Nine of those 13 takedowns were of the solo variety.
Tylon Papallo, Southern Conn. St. (Sr., WR - Meriden, Conn.)
Papallo had a game-high 101 receiving yards on four receptions with a six-yard touchdown. Papallo's 100-yard game was his second-straight and third of the season. The Owls' leading scorer, Papallo has now scored in back-to-back games. Papallo also had a three-yard rush.
