NE10 Player of the Week
Haley Bigwood, Franklin Pierce

In a very busy week for FPU Softball, Bigwood lit it up for 17 RBI on 12 hits, including three home runs and a double. Along the way, Bigwood also added in five stolen bases and eight total runs scored, finishing the seven-game week with a .522 batting average, a .571 on-base percentage, and a .957 slugging percentage. Her recent six-RBI performance against Southern Connecticut was good for a new personal best for Bigwood, who leads the NE10 this season in RBI (39). Defensively, Bigwood also completed the week with 14 total putouts, nine assists and a .958 fielding percentage.

NE10 Rookie of the Week
Skylar Griffin, New Haven
Freshman | Pitcher/Infield | Berlin, Md.
Griffin made a pair of starts among five appearances in the circle last week, capping off the week with a complete game 1-0 shutout of Saint Michael's. Overall for the week, she threw 20.1 innings and allowed three earned runs for a 1.03 ERA. She also struck out seven batters.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Taylor Murphy, AIC (So., 2B - Gill, Mass.)
Murphy had hits in all five appearances for AIC as she hit a scorching .533 on the week, going 8-for-15, reaching base 10 times total including her pair of walks. She scored three times in those five games. She also had a perfect fielding percentage, going 9-for-9 at second base including helping AIC turn a double play against Felician.
Jordan Dweyer, Assumption (Sr., OF - Coventry, R.I.)
Dwyer batted .500 in two games this week, as she went 4-for-8 with three extra-base hits and four RBI. In game one at Post on Friday, the Coventry RI native went 1-for-3 with a homerun, three RBI, and a stolen base. In the night cap, she went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, one RBI, and a stolen base.
Payton Doiron, Bentley (Jr., P - Beacon Falls, Conn.)
Doiron pitched in five of Bentley's six games during a 5-1 week and put together a 3-1 record and a 1.17 ERA in 24 innings. She limited the opponents to a .200 average, walked just five and struck out 23. She gave up only one run in ten innings against 18th-ranked Adelphi, allowed only one unearned run in six innings against Pace and struck out ten in eight innings of the Le Moyne doubleheader.
Jordan Krause, Bentley (So., OF - San Pedro, Calif.)
During a 5-1 week, Krause hit .500 (10/20) with four runs scored, five RBI, a triple and a home run, her 10th career to break the program?s all-time record. Krause, who was named to the NFCA Player of the Year Watch List on Thursday, had a .565 on base percentage and a .750 slugging percentage for the conference's first-place team. She had two hits in each game of a doubleheader against Le Moyne, hit a three-run homer in a 5-4 win against Adelphi and was 5-of-8 in a doubleheader sweep of Pace.
