NE10 Player of the Week
Ava Caputo, Saint Anselm
Sophomore | Second Base/Outfield | Waterford, N.Y.
Caputo tied for the Hawks lead with 10 hits in a six-game week, good for a .455 batting average. The sophomore added a .478 obp and a .636 slugging percentage in the contests. Caputo collected one double and one home run while driving in eight runs and scoring five. Caputo collected multiple hits in four of the six games and slugged one grand slam in the Hawks win over Southern New Hampshire on Apr. 8.

NE10 Rookie of the Week
Brianna Fischer, Adelphi
Freshman | Catcher | Bordentown, N.J.
Fischer hit .545 over four games with four runs scored in a 3-1 week for the Panthers. She delivered the walk-off game-winning solo home run in the eighth inning of a 2-1 win over Assumption. In the AIC series the next day, Fischer batted 3-for-5 with a double, triple and an RBI. The rookie never struck out amongst the four games.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Lindsey Hibbs, Adelphi (Jr., P - Brampton, Ontario, Canada)
Collected two more victories to improve to 14-3 on the season. Went the full eight innings and struck out 13 Greyhounds in a 2-1 extra-inning win over Assumption. Tossed another complete game and fanned seven in a 7-2 victory against AIC.
Mackenzie Berman, AIC (Sr., 2B/OF - Camarillo, Calif.)
Berman was AIC's most consistent player across the week, turning in six hits across six games and reaching base safely in five of the six contests to post a .471 on-base percentage. She also successfully completed all 20 defensive opportunities for AIC, mainly at second base.
Kaelin Waldron, Assumption (Fr., P - Griswold, Conn.)
Waldron went 2-1 on the week, as she supported a 1.34 ERA in 15.2 innings of work. Her two wins came against AIC and at No. 18 Adelphi. On Wednesday Waldron went 6.0 innings with two hits, five strikeouts, and one earned run. At Adelphi, the freshman tossed a 7.0 inning shutout of the Panthers, as she struck out one batter and allowed just two hits. It was the first time that the nationally-ranked Adelphi was held scoreless since they fell to Wilmington in the 2022 East Super Regional.
Ella Hillier, Bentley (Gr., C/DH - Tualatin, Ore.)
During a 2-2 week for the NE10 leaders, Hillier had a .600/.625/.667 slash line with six runs scored, three RBI and nine hits in 15 at bats. Bentley's all-time leader in RBI and doubles had multiple hits and a run scored in all four games with her week featuring a 3-for-3, three-run and three-RBI performance in a 13-0 win at St. Michael's. Her week also included a double, a walk, a 1.000 fielding percentage with 22 chances and no strikeouts.
Isabelle Boureau, Le Moyne (Sr., OF - Memramcook, New Brunswick,)
She slashed .583/.615/.583 with seven runs scored, three stolen base and two RBI in Le Moyne's 5-3 week. She went 4-for-4 with two runs scored and two stolen base in a 9-4 win at SNHU on Tuesday. She was 5-of-6 with three runs scored and two RBI in a sweep of New Haven on Friday. She went 4-for-7 with two runs scored in a sweep of Southern Connecticut State on Saturday.
Halle Fredrick, New Haven (Jr., C/INF - Green Lane, Pa.)
The Chargers primary catcher, Frederick led New Haven at the dish over a six-game week finishing with a .350 average with seven hits across 20 at bats while driving in a team-best nine runs on the week. Among her seven hits were a pair of home runs, both of which came in league play against Le Moyne and Saint Rose as she drove in four and three runs apiece in those games, respectively.
Haile Hicks, Saint Anselm (Jr., P - Jefferson, N.H.)
Hicks posted a 3-1 record in four appearances, three of which were starts, on the week for Saint Anselm. Each of Hicks' three starts were complete game efforts including a no-hitter against Southern New Hampshire in game one on Apr. 8. Hicks totaled 18.1 innings pitched on the week, allowing 10 hits and two runs while fanning 34. Hicks registered a 0.76 earned-run average and a 12.98 K/7 ratio in her four appearances.
Jenna Devens, Saint Michael's (So., 1B/RHP - Parisppany, N.J.)
Sophomore Jenna Devens slashed .438/.750/.471 during a 4-2 week, batting 7-for-16 with two runs, five RBI, two doubles, a home run and a walk. She was 1-for-2 in the opener and 1-for-3 with an RBI and a double in game two at Southern Connecticut State on Monday. Against Castleton on Tuesday, Devens batted 1-for-3 in game one and 2-for-3 with a run in the second contest. During a split of first-place Bentley on Saturday, she finished 2-for-3 with a run, four RBI, a double, a home run and a walk in the nightcap, an 11-4 victory. Devens also spun four shutout innings in the opener versus Castleton before yielding six earned runs over four innings of relief in the opener against Bentley, fanning three.
Jacqueline Dumont, Southern Conn. St. (Sr., C/DH - Nashua, N.H.)
2022 NE10 Player of the Year Jacqueline Dumont slashed .353/.450/.941 in a six game week that saw her hit safely in four of the Owls' six games while hitting three home runs and driving in four runs while also scoring five times. Against Saint Michael's in an 11-2 win, Dumont was 2-for-2 with a walk with two home runs, three RBI and three runs scored. She also homered in a 2-1 loss to Le Moyne.
Abi Gray, Southern N.H. (Sr., C - Litchfield, N.H.)
Abi Gray went 4-for-16 last week, but had the biggest hit - a three-run walk-off homer to beat Saint Anselm in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader.
