NE10 Player of the Week

Sadie Pratt, Saint Michael's
Senior | Infield/Outfield | Dighton, Mass.

Senior Sadie Pratt capped her career with a .667/.750/.733 line in three games over the weekend, batting 8-for-12 with six runs, one double, two RBI, one stolen base, and three walks with no strikeouts. In Friday's nightcap, a 7-5 win over AIC in nine innings, she was 3-for-4 with two runs, a double, a walk and a steal. During Saturday's opener with Assumption, Pratt finished 3-for-4 with two runs and a walk before going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI and a walk in the nightcap. Pratt batted .583 over her final six games, raising her batting average 64 points.


NE10 Pitcher of the Week

Lindsey Hibbs, Adelphi
Junior | Pitcher | Brampton, Ontario, Canada

An indescribable week for the reigning All-American. Hibbs took down Adelphi's 38-year-old single-season strikeout record, and became the NE10's single-season strikeout leader with her 52 K's in 27 innnings. In Thursday's nine-inning victory over Saint Rose, Hibbs took a perfect game into extra innings and struck out 25 batters along the way (fourth-most ever in a single game by a Division II pitcher). She did not give up an earned run in the 4-0 week for the Panthers and has not surrendered an earned run since Apr. 16.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Amy Jones, Franklin Pierce
Freshman | Outfield | San Diego, Calif.

Jones had a big final week of the regular season for Pierce softball, where she collected five hits in 10 at-bats to hit .500 through four games played. Throughout the same span, Jones was walked 4 times, scored 4 runs, drove in 3 RBI and hit her first collegiate home run (inside the park) with one stolen base. She also contributed a .667 on-base percentage, slugged .800 and was a perfect 1.000 from the field with 9 putouts and two assists.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll  

Victoria Andrade, AIC (Gr., C/INF - Salem, N.H.)
AIC's graduate co-captain made the most of her final week, reaching base safely at least once in five of her last six games and posting a .500 OBP as she combined for five hits, four walks, and a hit by pitch in 20 plate appearances. She also played every inning of the six games behind the dish, including AIC's 10-inning win over SNHU.

Alexis Jimenez, AIC (Sr., P/UT - Claremont, Calif.)
In the final week of her collegiate career, AIC's senior captain went beyond the limit, throwing three complete games, two of which went extras. Against SNHU, she allowed just one earned across 10 innings, and smacked the game-winning walk-off hit against the Penmen in the bottom of the 10th with two outs.

Jordan Dwyer, Assumption (Sr., OF - Coventry, R.I.)
Dwyer ran her hitting streak to nine games, as she batted 11-for-20 (.550) in six games this week. She scored seven runs, drove in four, and swiped five bases. Defensively, Dwyer was perfect in the outfield, as she made 21 putouts from centerfield.

Kaelin Waldron, Assumption (Fr., P - Griswold, Conn.)
Waldron picked up two wins on the week as she helped guide the Greyhounds to a 4-2 week and locked up a home game in the upcoming NE10 Playoffs. Her two wins came against the No. 3 and 4 seeds (Franklin Pierce and Saint Anselm), as she held them to two combined earned runs in those contests. During the week, she made five appearances, where she pitched 20.0 innings and struck out 15.

Payton Doiron, Bentley (Jr., P - Bacon Falls, Conn.)
In three appearances in the center circle, Doiron was 3-0 with a 1.17 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 12 innings. She struck out six in four innings at New Haven and came back with 2.1 scoreless innings of relief in game two against the Chargers. Against fourth-ranked Caldwell, she allowed only one run and fanned eight in 5.2 innings of work. Doiron is second in the NE10 in strikeouts per seven and tied for third in wins.

Jordan Krause, Bentley (So., OF - San Pedro, Calif.)
In a 3-1 week, Krause hit .500 (7-14), broke the school record for hits in a season and became the first Falcon to amass 100 total bases in a season. She had two hits in each game against New Haven and was 3-for-4 in the second game at Caldwell. Krause leads the NE10 in hits and is second in batting average, slugging, on base performance and total bases.

Selena Aponte, New Haven (Sr., P - Lumberton, N.J.)
In 3 complete-game appearances, Aponte claimed two wins. She pitched 21.0 innings and retired eight batters in the act.

Gisselle Garcia, Pace (So., P - Lemon Grove, Calif.)
Garcia pitched in three games this week, making two starts. She pitched a complete game in a 2-1 win over Le Moyne April 27, allowing one run on two hits, one walk and struck out 13 batters. On April 28 against Saint Rose, she pitched a complete game shutout in game one, allowing two hits, two walks and no runs while striking out 12. She then came on in relief in game two, pitching the final 2.2 innings while allowing just one hit and one walk while adding five more strikeouts.

Ava Caputo, Saint Anselm (So., OF/2B - Waterford, N.Y.)
Caputo slashed .500/.500/.545 in a 4-2 week for the Hawks to close the regular season. The sophomore totaled a team-high 11 hits while scoring two runs, and driving in seven. Caputo went for multiple hits in five of the six contests while driving in multiple runs in three of those games.

Ava Vincequere, Saint Anselm (Sr., P - Shrewsbury, Mass.)
Vincequere turned in three complete efforts this week for the Hawks, totaling 21.0 innings pitched. The senior made her first collegiate start against Assumption before adding a shut out against Southern Connecticut State and a one-run win over New Haven. Vincequere allowed just 13 hits and fanned 11 batters in the 3-0 week from the circle, posting a 1.00 earned-run average.

Leine McKechnie, Southern N.H. (Jr., P - Passadumkeag, Maine)
Leine McKechnie worked in all six Penmen games last week (3 starts, 3 relief appearances). She earned the win in all three games in a 3-3 week. Pitched to a 1.18 ERA with 4 ER in 23.2 IP.

Jordyn Resetar, Southern N.H. (So., C - Hanover, Mass.)
Jordyn Resetar went 6-for-20 with a homer and five RBI to lead the Penmen in a 3-3 week.
