Southern Connecticut's Amanda Thomas Wins Third Straight NCAA Title in 200 Individual Medley

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Senior Amanda Thomas of the Southern Connecticut State University women's swimming & diving team won the NCAA Division II Championship in the women's 200 yard individual medley Wednesday night.

Thomas defended her two-time title, finishing with a time of 2:01.21. This makes Thomas a four-time national champion during her decorated career. 

Thomas will look to defend her title in the 400 IM on Thursday and will also compete in the 100 backstroke on Friday and the 200 backstroke on Saturday.
