NE10 Women's Lacrosse Teams of the Week: Le Moyne, Saint Anselm

Le Moyne, Saint Anselm

Each week for the remainder of the spring we will honor the seniors from two NE10 women's lacrosse programs as our teams of the week for each player's dedication to their program and teammates.

LE MOYNE

Coach Liz Beville on her senior class - "I can't express my gratitude enough for this senior class. Coming in as a new coach, these girls helped me feel right at home and embraced everything I threw their way. They helped set the standard of what it means to be a member of the Le Moyne women's lacrosse program for years to come. I look forward to cheering them on in the 'real world' after they graduate. Thank you Molly, Claire, Nicole, Sidney, Olivia, Julia and Hannah!"

Season Recap
The Dolphins, ranked No. 1 in the final IWLCA Poll of the season, were 4-0 to begin the 2020 campaign – including three wins over nationally-ranked opponents in No. 17 Mercyhurst, No. 11 Mercy and No. 6 Indianapolis. Under first-year head coach Liz Beville, Le Moyne didn't skip a beat coming off a 20-2 season in 2019. Sidney Hall led all seniors with 14 points through four games, while Nicole Delany chipped in 13 points. Hannah George had a .623 save percentage and allowed just 6.87 goals per game with a 4-0 record in goal.

SAINT ANSELM

Coach Meghan Smith on her senior class - "I am so fortunate to have been able to coach Lauren, Heather, Bailee, Becca, Eleanor, and Breda these past four years. They have made such a positive impact on Saint Anselm women's lacrosse through their contributions on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. We are so grateful for all their hard work and dedication to help this program grow! Thank you for everything! We are going to miss you so much but cannot wait to see the great things you accomplish next!"
