THINK PINK IN SUPPORT OF CANCER AWARENESS
SNHU Hoop Fans Encouraged To Wear Pink Saturday

Members of the Southern New Hampshire University women's
basketball team, coaching staff and athletic department
administration will show their support for cancer awareness this
weekend, and they asking anyone attending Saturday's game against
nationally-ranked Southern Connecticut State University to do the
same.
The Women's Basketball Coaches Association has designed this
weekend "Cancer Awareness Weekend", and everyone attending
Saturday's game is encouraged to wear pink as a show of support for
the brave individuals battling cancer. The $6 admission charge for
adult ($3 seniors/children) will be waived for anyone wearing pink
to the game.

This weekend's "Think Pink" campaign is a nationwide effort by
the WBCA to raise awareness for cancer research, and to unify the
women’s basketball world in a show of support for all coaches
who are battling cancer.
SNHU will host Southern Connecticut State University in a
Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader Saturday. The women's game
tip's off at 1:30 p.m., followed by the men at 3:30 p.m.
