TAGLIAFERRI NAMED DIRECTOR OF ATHLETIC MEDIA RELATIONS

PLEASANTVILLE, NY – Pace University Director of Athletics
Joseph O’Donnell has announced the promotion of John M.
Tagliaferri to Director of Athletic Media Relations/Sports
Information, effective immediately.
Tagliaferri has served the Pace Athletics department in various capacities since starting as a student worker from 1997-2000. Following his graduation from Pace, he worked as a middle school social studies teacher for four years, while assisting the Pace Athletics Department as a statistical coordinator during athletic events.
Tagliaferri was named Sports Information Assistant for the 2004-05 athletics year, where he was involved in assisting in the day-to-day operations of the sports information department. The following year, Tagliaferri went on to complete his Master’s thesis, while continuing to assist Pace Athletics on game days. He was named Interim Director of Athletic Media Relations on November 1, 2006.
Tagliaferri received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History in 2000 from Pace and a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2006.
Tagliaferri is a native and resident of Hillsdale, N.J.
