South Easton, Mass. – Franklin Pierce University junior defenseman Tom Reilly (Wallasey, England) was named the 2010 Northeast-10 Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Year by the conference's head coaches.

Reilly led the top-ranked Ravens to a number one seed in the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference Tournament as the Ravens completed an undefeated conference run during the 2010 campaign. Franklin Pierce finished conference play with a mark of 12-0-1, and only allowed six goals in the thirteen outings. Reilly, who was a second-team performer a year ago, spearheaded a defense that is fourth in the nation in goals against average and eighth in shutout percentage.

Southern Connecticut State University junior Paul Templeton (Saltcoats, Scotland) was named 2010 Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Year. Templeton, who was a first-team performer a year ago in the midfield, shifted to the back and helped lead the Owls to a 12-2-2, 9-2-2 NE-10 record. So. Connecticut's defense allowed only ten goals in the sixteen games, and Templeton's prowess on the back line was one of the main reasons. He also chipped in on the offensive side of the field with three goals and three assists this season.

Bentley University's Mike Nikiforov (Framingham, Mass.) has been named the 2010 Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Year. Nikiforov is currently in the midst of a five-game stretch in which he has not allowed a goal, and the Falcons are among the hottest teams entering the conference tournament, as they have not dropped a game over their past six contests. Bentley finished the regular season with a mark of 10-2-5, 7-1-5 NE-10 and Nikiforov's prowess in net is one of the reasons they are the number three seed in the conference tournament, which begins on Thursday.

Le Moyne College's freshman goalkeeper Matthew Silva (Brampton, Ontario) has been named the 2010 Rookie of the Year. Silva has appeared in thirteen games in net for the Dolphins, allowing only nine goals this season. His goals against average and save percentage were among the conference leaders, and he has five shutouts on his resume during his first year at Le Moyne.

Franklin Pierce's Craig Stewart was named the 2010 Coach of the Year. In his second year as the head man in Rindge, New Hampshire, Stewart led the Ravens to a 14-1-1, 12-0-1 NE-10 record. The former Northeast-10 Player of the Year has Franklin Pierce atop the national and regional rankings and they will be the number one seed in the conference tournament when play commences on Thursday.
