Greyhounds Storm In Front on Women's Side After Strong Third Day.
WORCESTER, Mass. - The Assumption women's team jumped in front of the pack following the third day of competition at the NE10 Swimming & Diving Championships, while the Bentley men's program maintained its lead on Saturday at the WPI Recreation Center. Sunday will determine the 2019 Northeast 10 Conference champions, with a live stream available on NE10NOW.tv.

The Bentley men's team increased its point total to 742, a comfortable margin ahead of Southern Connecticut (588.5) and Pace (367). The Falcons picked up wins in the 400 Yard IM from Frank Elenio and 200 Yard Freestyle from Mark Zoda to keep its lead, which it has held since after day one of competition on Thursday.
Assumption's women's team made the biggest leap in the standings on Saturday after facing a narrow deficit following Friday. The Greyhounds have tallied 620 points, with Southern Connecticut in second (536 points) and Bentley in third (515). Allison Fitzgerald won the 100 Yard Butterfly, Abbey Holmes took the 100 Yard Breaststroke and the Greyhounds finished first in the 200 Yard Medley Relay - setting a new NE10 Championship record in the process with a time of 1:44.68 - to lead Assumption on day three.
