National, Regional Honors Handed Out to NE10 Student-Athletes
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Northeast-10 spring sport student-athletes from nine different sports recently received national and regional honors following the completion of the 2017 season. The NE10 was well represented on All-America and All-Region teams in the sports of baseball, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, softball, and men’s and women’s outdoor track & field, as well as regional honors in men’s golf, men’s tennis and women’s tennis.
For a breakdown of those that were recognized by sport, please see below. 20 NE10 women's lacrosse student-athletes were honored, while 19 men's lacrosse players were recognized to lead the way.
The national champion Adelphi women's lacrosse team led the way with five 1st Team All-American seleections and six student-athletes recognized in total. The conference had 61 student-athletes earn All-America recognition this spring, including 19 first team selections.
