EMPORIA KS. - Southern Connecticut track & field will send six student-athletes to the 2024 NCAA Division II National Championships on May 23-25 at Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kansas hosted by Emporia State University. Hannah Caiola will represent the women's program while Cameron Belton, Nevan Burke, Jordan Davis, Ramsley Exantus and Bernardo Mbaya will represent the Owls' men's program.
Southern Connecticut men's track & field won the 2024 NEICAAA Outdoor Championship for the seventh time in program history and the first since 2022. The Owls posted 103 points while finishing ahead of New Hampshire, Tufts, Holy Cross and Maine in the top five.
The second day of the two-day championship saw Cameron Belton win the Shot Put Championship while Ramsley Exantus took the 400 Meter Hurdles title, as both student-athletes won for the second-straight year. Jordan Davis also won his fourth-straight Javelin Championship on Friday.
Southern Connecticut women's track & field finished third overall at the 2024 NEICAAA Championships in a close finish. Bryant won with 93.5 points, followed by Holy Cross in second at 83.5 points while the Owls finished with 75 points and ahead of Rhode Island (63) and Quinnipiac (58) in the top five.
Ella Maclean and Hannah Caiola led the Owls with three event championships for the second day of the event. Maclean captured the 100 Meter Championship for the first time in her career after finishing in the top three of in each of the last two seasons. Caiola won the 400 Meters title. Both student-athletes, as well as Kisha Francois, were also part of the 4x100 and 4x400 Relay Championship winning teams as well.
WORCESTER, Mass. – Southern Connecticut finished the first day of the 2024 NEICAAA New England Championships in second place with 23 points, trailing NCAA Division I University of Hampshire's 32 points.
A week after winning his fourth-straight Northeast-10 Conference Javelin Throw Championship, Jordan Davis won his fourth-straight New England Championship. Owls junior Nevan Burke finished second with the ninth-best mark in NCAA Division II Javelin this season. The Owls are one of two teams with a pair of teammates ranked in the Top 10 in the country.

Southern Connecticut State University softball standout Jessica Perucki was named to the 2024 National Fast Pitch Coaches Association Division II All-Region First Team, as announced by the NFCA on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
Southern Connecticut State University baseball placed nine student-athletes on 2024 Northeast-10 Conference Baseball All-Conference teams. Billy Sullivan and Mike Szturma earned First Team honors while Sullivan also earned All-Defensive team honors. Braeden Sparaco was named the NE10 Southwest Division Rookie Pitcher of the Year while also earning Second Team honors with Izaiah Walker and Chad Fedeli. Mike Talavera and Jake Gruttadauria were named to the Third Team while Jake Chacho joined Sparaco on the All-Rookie Team. Jack Drewry also earned All-Defensive team recognition.
MANSFIELD, Mass. - Southern Connecticut women's lacrosse placed five on the All Northeast-10 Conference teams, as announced by the NE10 on Monday, May 6. Defender Hannah Holmes earned All-NE10 Second Team honors, Kirsten McIntire and Sarah Robbins earned All-NE10 Third Team honors, and Anna Meserve and Allie Welder earned All-Rookie Team honors.
The Owls' five all-conference honorees are the most in a single season in program history, while four received the first all-NE10 awards of their careers. It is Sarah Robbins' second all-NE10 recognition of her career, after previously earning all-conference honors in 2022.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut women's outdoor track & field won the 2024 Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship, their first since 2015 and sixth NE10 title overall. The Owls finished with a total of 240 points over the two days of competition.
