MANSFIELD, Mass. – Saint Anselm has claimed the top seed in the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference Ice Hockey Championship, it was announced by the league office on Sunday.
THe Hawks tied for the regular season title with Saint Michael's, but earned the top seed by virtue of their win over the Purple Knights earlier this year.
Saint Anselm (4-1) will play host to fourth-seeded Assumption (5-5-1 NE10) on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m.
Saint Michael's (4-1) collected the No. 2 seed and wil host third-seeded Stonehill (6-4-1 NE10) on Saturday at 4 p.m.
The 2017 NE10 Championship Game will take place on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the highest remaining seed and will be broadcast live on Northeast10.tv. For Championship updates, follow @TheNortheast10 on Twitter.

* Saint Anselm earns the top seed based on a head-to-head win over Saint Michael’s.
** Stonehill earns the #3 seed over Assumption based on goal differential within their three-game series. Stonehill and Assumption finished 1-1-1 in their three-game series, and were tied on all other tie-breaker criteria.
