Northeast-10 Men’s Swimming Athlete of the Week

Ricky Chidsey, Le Moyne (So., Liverpool, NY) - Won five individual events in Le Moyne’s dual meet wins over St. Lawrence and Bryant. Won the 200-yard IM in 2:02.30 and the 100-yard back in 54.88 and teamed for the 200-yard medley relay win in the win over St. Lawrence. He won the 50-yard free, the 100-yard free and the 400-yard IM in a dual meet win over Bryant.

Northeast-10 Women’s Swimming Athlete

Alison Lesher, Le Moyne (Jr., Sherrill, NY) - Won four individual events in Le Moyne's dual meet wins over Bryant and St. Lawrence. Set a pool record in the 200-yard butterfly (2:08.50) and the 400-yard IM (4:39.95) in the dual meet win over Bryant. Won in the 200-yard IM (2:11.34) and 100-yard butterfly (59.25) in the win over St. Lawrence.

Northeast-10 Men’s Co-Diving Athlete of the Week

Kyle Reese, Bentley (Jr., Hamden, CT) - Captured both diving events in a dual meet with Brandeis, posting scores of 237.45 on the one-meter and 210.30 on the three-meter.

Mike DeGrandpre, Saint Michael's (Sr., Freeport, ME) - Won both one-meter diving events in a dual meet at Norwich, totaling 337.10 points. At the Middlebury Relays, helped Saint Michael’s place second in the 4 X 25-yard mixed diver relay (55.37).

Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week

Craig Diaz-Albertini, Saint Rose (Fr., Sloatsburg, NY) - Took first in two events and second in another to lead Saint Rose to a 122-73 victory over Bryant. Swam the third leg on the winning 200-yard medley relay squad that finished in 1:44.54. Also took first in
the 100-yard butterfly after clocking a 56.01. Finally, finished second in the 50-yard free
in 23.03.

Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the Week

Emily Sundel, Southern Connecticut (Fr., West Hartford, CT) - Took first place in both the 1650-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle. Winning times were 17:29.76 and in the 500-yard freestyle she finished at 5:16.79.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Arden Brust, Bentley (Jr., Newark, NY) - Helped Bentley to a 132-111 win over Brandeis by winning both the 200-yard individual medley (2:18.25) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:26.45). Also swam a leg on Bentley's winning 400-yard medley relay team (4:17.90).

Liza Connolly, Bentley (Jr., Washington, CT) - Finished first in both the 50-yardfree (25.96) and 100-yard free (56.84) in a 132-111 win over Brandeis. Also swam on a leg for Bentley's winning 400-yard medley relay team (4:17.90).

Sean Osit, Bentley (Sr., Acton, MA) - Finished first in the 200-yard individual medley (2:05.47) and the 200-yard butterfly (2:04.42) in a loss to Brandeis. Also swam a leg on Bentley's winning 400-yard medley relay team (3:43.48).

Sarah Casey, Le Moyne (Fr., Binghamton, NY) - Won the 50-yard free in victories over St. Lawrence and Bryant. Topped the St. Lawrence event in 25.90 and won the event in the meet with Bryant in 26.10.

Erick Gallager, Saint Michael's (Fr., Middlebury, CT) - Won the 50-yard butterfly (25.65) and took second in the 100-yard butterfly (58.71) in a dual-meet at Norwich. At the Middlebury Relays helped Saint Michael’s finish third in the 4 X 200-yard individual medley relay (9:39.78), fourth in the 400-yard butterfly relay (4:16.45), and fifth in the 800-yard freestyle relay (8:20.75).

Stephanie Hammer, Saint Michael's (So., Billings, MT) - Won the 500-yard freestyle (5:47.13) and the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:46.63) in a dual-meet victory at Norwich. At the Middlebury Relays, helped Saint Michael’s finish sixth in the 800-yard freestyle relay (8:55.33), and placed seventh in the 500-yard freestyle (5:45.84), the first non-Middlebury finisher in the event.

Laura Mann, Saint Michael's (Sr., Attleboro, MA) - Won the 50-yard breaststroke (34.38), the 100-yard breaststroke (1:15.55), and swam a leg of the winning 200-yard medley relay in a dual-meet victory at Norwich. At the Middlebury Relays, helped Saint Michael’s finish third in the 400-yard breaststroke relay (5:21.33), fifth in the 4 X 200-yard individual medley relay (10:12.34) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:50.98), and seventh in the 200-yard medley relay (2:04.55).

Sean Molloy, Saint Rose (So., LaGrange, NY) - Took first in two events and second in another as Saint Rose defeated visiting Bryant, 122-73. Took first place in the 100-yard backstroke, touching in 57.84 and was second (10:53.49) in the 1,000-yard free. Swam leadoff for the 200-yard medley relay team that finished in 1:44.54.

Rosalie Palmer, Saint Rose (Fr., Dallas, TX) - Claimed first place in two separate events in a 124-81 victory over Bryant. Took the 100-yard backstroke in a school record time of 1:02.47, breaking a six-year old mark by just over one second. Also touched first in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:16.23 and finished second in the 200-yard individual medley after clocking at 2:20.60.

Amy Browning, Southern Connecticut (Jr., Fort Worth, TX) - Won two events in a 153-135 loss to C.W. Post. Finished the 200-yard freestyle in first with a time of 1:58.78 while winning the 100-yard freestyle at 54.81.
