Northeast-10 Men’s Swimming Athlete of the
Week
Allan Smith, Saint Michael's (Sr., Southbury, CT) - Combined to win
seven events in a pair of dual-meet victories. Versus Potsdam, won
the 50-yard freestyle (23.38), the 100-yard freestyle (52.12), and
helped win the 200-yard medley relay, and at Skidmore, won the
50-yard freestyle (23.76), the 100-yard freestyle (52.73), and
helped win the 400-yard freestyle relay and the 400-yard medley
relay.
Northeast-10 Women’s Co-Swimming Athlete
Amanda Albertian, Bentley (Sr., Hopkinton, MA) - In a 166-119 win
over UMass-Dartmouth, finished first in both the 50-yard backstroke
(31.16) and 50-yard butterfly (1:05.56). Also swam opening leg on
the winning 200-yard medley relay team (2:06.68).
Lauren Ziemann, Le Moyne (So., Syracuse, NY) - Won two events in Le
Moyne's 169-97 dual meet win over Saint Rose. Topped the 50-yard
free in 26.55 and won the 100-yard free in 56.53.
Northeast-10 Men’s Co-Diving Athlete of the Week
Kyle Reese, Bentley (Jr., Hamden, CT) - Swept the diving events
in a 146-106 win over UMass-Dartmouth, with scores of 251.75 on the
one-meter board and 259.35 on the three-meter.
Brendan Birchak, Saint Rose (Jr., Latham, NY) - Claimed the
one-meter diving event in a 164-130 dual meet victory over Le
Moyne. Accumulated 544.75 points to defeat his next closest
competitor by just over 150 points.
Northeast-10 Women’s Diving Athlete of the Week
Tierney Carey, Saint Michael's (So., Newtown, CT) - Won three
one-meter diving events in a pair of dual meets. In a win versus
Potsdam, took both one-meter dives (combined 324.50 points), and at
Skidmore, earned a first and second-place finish (combined 355.72
points).
Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week
Tony Tryonis, Bentley (Fr., Knox, IN) - Posted wins in both the
100-yard free (52.38) and 50-yard fly (25.16) during a 146-106 win
over UMass-Dartmouth. Also swam a leg in the 200-yard free relay,
helping the quartet to a second-place finish (1:39.38).Northeast-10

Lindsey Burgess, Saint Michael's (Fr., Westborough, MA) -
Combined to win four events in a pair of dual meets. In a victory
versus Potsdam, won the 100-yard butterfly (1:04.84) and helped win
the 200-yard medley relay, and at Skidmore, won the 100-yard
butterfly (1:06.25) and helped win the 400-yard medley relay.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Tezzy Bergantz, Bentley (Sr., Trumbull, CT) - In a 166-119
win over UMass-Dartmouth, posted a winning score of 237.20 on the
one-meter board and finished third in the three-meter event
(201.40).
Arthur Engelhard, Bentley (Jr., Apalachin, NY) - Was a winner in
both the 50-yard free (22.98) and 500-yard free (5:17.27) in a
146-106 victory over UMass-Dartmouth. Also helped win the 200-yard
medley relay (1:49.60).
Nick Markert, Bentley (So., Lincoln Park, NJ) - In a 146-106 win
over UMass-Dartmouth, finished first in the 200-yard free (1:56.89)
and 100-yard breast (1:04.36), and also participated on the winning
200-yard medley relay team (1:49.60).
Kristen Reinckens, Bentley (Fr., Hudson, NY) - Was a double-winner
in a 166-119 win over UMass-Dartmouth, capturing the 50-yard free
(27.29) and 100-yard back (1:05.56). Also helped in a second-place
finish in the 200-yard medley relay (2:07.09).
Ricky Chidsey, Le Moyne (So., Liverpool, NY) - Won three individual
events in a 164-130 setback to Saint Rose. Won the 100-yard back
(52.26), 200-yard IM (1:59.90) and 200-yard back (1:54.19), and led
off for the winning 200-yard medley relay team.
Will Clayton, Le Moyne (Sr., Chicago, IL) - Won two individual
events and two relays in a dual meet loss to Saint Rose. Won the
100-yard breast (1:03.49) and 200-yard breast (2:21.80), teamed for
wins in the 200-yard medley relay and the 200-yard free relay.
Alison Lesher, Le Moyne (Jr., Sherrill, NY) - Won the 1000-yard
free and the 200-yard back in a 169-97 dual meet win over Saint
Rose. Topped the 1000-yard free in 10:44.79 and the 200-yard back
with a time of 2:12.89.
Ryan Lowrie, Le Moyne (Sr., Johnson City, NY) - Won two individual
events and teamed for two relay wins in a dual meet team loss to
Saint Rose. Won the 200-yard butterfly (2:03.51) and 100-yard
butterfly (52.45). Teamed for relay wins in the 200-yard medley
relay and the 200-yard free relay.
Mike Kaas, Saint Michael's (Jr., West Haven, CT) - Won four
individual events in a pair of dual-meet victories. Versus Potsdam,
won the 200-yard individual medley (2:14.38) and the 500-yard
freestyle (5:29.61), and at Skidmore, won the 200-yard individual
medley (2:13.97) and the 200-yard butterfly (2:11.85).
Mike Buyes, Saint Rose (Jr., Wappingers Falls, NY) - Won the 200
and 500-freestyles in a dual meet 163-130 win over Le Moyne. Hit
the wall in 1:48.80 to take the 200-yard free and touched in
5:10.22 to claim the 500-yard free.
Rosalie Palmer, Saint Rose (Fr., Dallas, TX) - Claimed top honors
in the 200-yard individual medley in a dual meet at Le Moyne. Won
with a time of 2:23.95. Also took second in the 100-yard
backstroke, finishing in 1:05.93. Additionally, swam the leadoff
leg on the 200-yard medley relay squad that captured third with a
time of 2:03.49.
