Northeast-10 Men’s Swimming Athlete of the Week

Ned Krawiecki, Bentley (Sr., Bristol, Conn.) - Finished first in both the 200 IM (2:06.00) and 100 breaststroke (1:03.07) against Babson, and was a member of the winning 400 medley relay team (3:50.38). Against Keene State, was second in the 100 breast (1:02.22) and 200 breast (2:17.62) and third in the 200 IM (2:07.47).

Northeast-10 Women’s Swimming Athlete of the Week

Jess Looney, Bryant (So., Goffstown, N.H.) - Had a pair of dual-meet wins this past week. Swam away with a trio of wins in the 126-74 victory over UMass Dartmouth, getting top times in the 100-yard freestyle (57.25), the 50-yard free (26.50) and the 1000-yard free (11:23.24). Walked away with victories in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:32.52), the 100-yard backstroke (1:05.71) and the 400-yard IM (4:53.21) in the 174-120 win over Saint Michael's.

Northeast-10 Men’s Diving Athlete of the Week

Jon Andrews, Bentley (Fr., Southbury, Conn.) - Swept the diving events against Keene State, with scores of 244.75 on the one-meter board and 274.25 on the three-meter. Against Babson, was second on the three-meter (236.80) and third on the one-meter (239.30).

Northeast-10 Women’s Diving Athlete of the Week

Emily Travers , Bentley (Fr., Brentwood, N.H.) - Captured both diving events against Keene State, with scores of 235.30 on the one-meter and 223.65 on the three-meter. Against Babson, had scores of 184.25 on the one-meter (3rd place) and 217.55 on the three-meter (2nd place).

Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week

Steven Nguyen, Bryant (Fr., San Jose, Calif.) - Earned five first-place finishes in two wins this past week. Earned two first-place finishes in a 94-82 win over UMass Dartmouth before taking a trio of wins in the 50-yard breaststroke (30.33), the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.39) and the 50-yard backstroke (37.84) in the 120-105 victory over Saint Michael's.

Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the Week

Anne Kaduboski, Bentley (Fr., Dedham, Mass.) - Was undefeated this past week, with two wins against Babson, three against Keene State and two relay victories. Turned in winning efforts of 1:00.74 in the 100 fly and 2:00.37 in the 200 free against Babson, and captured the 200 fly (213.03), 100 fly (school record 59.71) and 200 IM (2:15.66) in the Keene State meet. Also helped the Falcons win the 200 free relay (1:46.66) against Babson and the 400 free relay (3:44.60) against Keene.


Weekly Honor Roll:


Arden Brust, Bentley (Sr., Newark, N.Y.) - Captured the 1,000 freestyle in both meets last week, with times of 11:01.91 versus Babson and 11:01.80 against Keene State. Also finished first in the 500 free (5:21.94) against Babson, and was second in both the 200 back (2:16.86) and 500 free (5:26.18) versus Keene. Also helped Bentley to a relay win in each meet, 1:46.66 in the 200 free versus Babson and 3:44.60 in the 500 free versus Keene.

Liza Connolly, Bentley (Sr., Washington, Conn.) - During a pair of dual meet victories, won three events, finished second in three others and helped Falcons win a pair of relays. Against Babson, was first in the 100 free (56.85) and second in the 50 free (25.49) and 100 breaststroke (1:14.96) and a member of the Falcons' winning 400 medley relay team (4:16.58). In the Keene State meet, was first in the 100 free (55.72) and 200 free (158.86), and second in the 50 free (school record 25.24). Also helped Bentley to a winning time of 3:44.60 in the 500 free relay.

Arthur Engelhard, Bentley (Sr., Apalachin, N.Y.) - Won two of five individual events during two meets, the 100 back against Keene State (55.94) and the 100 fly versus Babson (58.50). In the latter, also helped win the 200 free relay (1:34.72) and finished third in the 200 free (1:54.77). Against Keene, was also second in the 200 back (2:04.34) and third in the 100 fly (57.46).

Tom Ferrigno, Bryant (Jr., West Chester, Pa.) – In the 94-82 victory on Senior Day, touched the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:48.09), the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.20) and the 200-yard IM (2:12.91). Collected another pair of wins in the 120-105 win over Saint Michael's with a 1000-yard freestyle win (10:32.52) and a 400 IM victory (4:20.24).

Ray Savner, Bryant (Sr., Bethlehem, Conn.) – In a 120-105 win over Saint Michael's had a strong showing in the 100-yard freestyle, winning in 50.62 seconds and taking another first in the 50 free in 23.06. Also got a second-place finish in the 100-yard free and a first-place in the 200-yard medley relay in a 94-82 win over UMass Dartmouth.

Jerry Dumary, Le Moyne (Fr., Ballston Spa, N.Y.) – Had four first-place finishes in two dual meets this past week. Added three victories in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and 200 IM versus RIT and added a victory in the 100 breastroke against Alfred.

Lindsey Burgess, Saint Michael's (So., Westborough, Mass.) - Placed first in both the 50- and 100-yard butterfly events in 29.72 and 1:05.42, respectively, in a dual meet with Bryant. Also finished third in the 100-yard freestyle event in a time of 1:00.27.

Gene Taylor, Saint Michael's (Fr., Marmora, N.J.) - In a dual meet with Bryant, took home first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.58) and second in both the 50-yard freestyle (23.56) and 100-yard freestyle events (51.75).

Brandon Birchak, Saint Rose (Sr., Latham, N.Y.) - Captured the one-meter event in a 112-107 setback versus Adelphi. Recorded a total of 547.90 points, which was his second-highest scoring total in the event this season.

Christine Lockwood, Saint Rose (Fr., Binghamton, N.Y.) - Set a school record with a 2:17.03 clocking in the 200-yard individual medley in a 140-64 victory over Adelphi. Also part of the 200 medley relay squad that took first in 2:04.72.

Morgan Schutz, Saint Rose (Sr., Pine Bush, N.Y.) - Registered a pair of individual victories and was part of the winning 200-yard medley relay squad to pace Saint Rose in a 140-64 victory versus Adelphi. Won the 200 and 500-yard freestyles in 2:04.72 and 5:33.32. Also swam the third leg on the 200 medley relay squad that hit the wall in 2:04.72.

Douglas Terry, Saint Rose (Sr., Garnerville, N.Y.) - Recorded a pair of victories in a 112-107 setback versus Adelphi. Swam a 22.94 in the 50-yard freestyle and hit the wall first in the 100 free with a time of 54.55.

Kristen Frost, Southern Connecticut (So., Madison, Conn.) - Won three events against West Chester. Picked up a win in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:05.14. Added victories in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:08.29 and the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.36 seconds.

Dan Vitagliano, Southern Connecticut (Sr., New Haven, Conn.) - Won two events on Senior Day against West Chester. Picked up a victory in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:43.07 and in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 47.76 seconds.

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: During Saturday's win over Keene State, freshman Anne Kaduboski and senior Liza Connolly set school records. Kaduboski, with a time of 59.71 seconds in the 100 butterfly, broke a six-year-old record and became the first swimmer in school history to break a minute in the event. Connolly improved on her own school record in the 50 free, with a time of 25.24.

SAINT ROSE: Freshman Christine Lockwood set a school record with a 2:17.03 clocking in the women's 200-yard individual medley in Saturday's 140-64 victory over visiting Adelphi.
