Northeast-10 Men’s Swimming Athlete of the Week

Ned Krawiecki, Bentley (Sr., Bristol, Conn.) - In a pair of meets, helped Bentley to a 2-1 record by winning three of four individual events and helping the Falcons win two of three relays. At Wheaton, was first in the 50 breaststroke (28.57), 200 breast (2:21.56) and the 400 free relay (3:21.77), and second in the 400 medley relay (3:45.65). At Roger Williams, won the 200 breast in 2:18.93, was second in the 100 individual medley (58.22) and helped Bentley win the 200 medley relay (1:43.01).

Northeast-10 Women’s Swimming Athlete and Freshman of the Week

Anne Kaduboski, Bentley (Fr., Dedham, Mass.) - In a triangular meet at Wheaton, broke the school record, for the fourth time, while winning the 200 butterfly (2:11.42), and also posted victories in the 1000 freestyle (11:09.30) and the 500 free (5:22.70). In addition, was a member of the Falcons' winning 400 medley relay team (4:12.40).

Northeast-10 Men’s Diving Athlete of the Week

Kyle Reese, Bentley (Sr., Hamden, Conn.) - Recorded three wins and one second in a pair of meets. Swept the diving in a triangular at Wheaton, with scores of 233.55 on the one-meter and 237.60 on the three-meter. Against Roger Williams, was first in the three-meter (239.10) and second on the one-meter (224.47).

Northeast-10 Women’s Diving Athlete of the Week

Ali Bronson, Southern Connecticut (Sr., Torrington, Conn.) - Swept the diving events against Saint Rose and Queens. Posted scores of 181.95 and 138.25 in the one- and three-meter events, respectively.

Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week

Egen Ouellette, Bentley (Fr., West Hartford, Conn.) - Finished first in three individual events during two meets, winning the 1000 free (10:54.07) and the 500 free (5:05.84) in a triangular with Wheaton, and the 1000 free (10:34.94) at Roger Williams. Also helped Bentley win a relay in each meet, was fourth in the 200 butterfly against Wheaton (2:17.73) and fifth in the 200 fly (2:23.45) against Roger Williams.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Arden Brust, Bentley (Sr., Newark, N.Y.) - During a triangular at Wheaton, was a double-winner with times of 2:17.73 in the 200 individual medley and 2:14.80 in the 200 backstroke. Also finished second in the 200 freestyle (2:03.44) and was a member of the Falcons' winning 400 medley relay team (4:12.40).

Emily Travers, Bentley (Fr., Brentwood, N.H.) - Finished first on the three-meter board (230.85) and second on the one-meter (201.40) during a triangular meet at Wheaton with Bridgewater State.

Tom Ferrigno, Bryant (Jr., West Chester, Pa.) - Swam to three top times in the 110-53 win over Pace. Finished first in the 200 free (2:03.53), the 100 backstroke (1:03.53) and the 400 free (4:23.03).

Jess Looney, Bryant (So., Goffstown, N.H.) - Swam to two individual first-place finishes at the University of Bridgeport. Won the 1000 free in 9:52.24 and the 200 backstroke in 2:30.66 before leading off the winning 400 freestyle relay (4:22.04). Also placed third in the 200 IM (2:34.97).

Jill Squillante, Bryant (Fr., Sayville, N.Y.) - Finished second in the 50 free (29.32) at the University of Bridgeport. Also swam in the winning 400 freestyle relay (4:22.04).

Jerry Dumary, Le Moyne (Fr., Ballston Spa, N.Y.) - In a loss to Ithaca, captured individual wins in the 200 IM (2:04.14) and the 200 breaststroke (2:17.40).

Ryan Lowrie, Le Moyne (Sr., Johnson City, N.Y.) - In a loss to Ithaca College, had victories in the 50 freestyle (22.71) and 200 butterfly (2:02.46).

Meaghan Morley, Pace (Sr., Delhi, N.Y.) - At the Bridgeport Invitational, took a pair of third place finishes in the 50 SC meter freestyle with a time of 29.66 and the 200 SC meter backstroke with a time of 2:36.03.

Stephanie Hammer , Saint Michael's ( Jr. , Billings, Mont. ) - In a 71-42 win over Norwich, swam to first place in the 1000-yard freestyle (11:49.34) before finishing third in the 100-yard IM (1:19.83).

Gene Taylor, Saint Michael's (Fr., Marmora, N.J.) - In a dual meet with Norwich, finished first in the 50-yard freestyle event (26.98), winning by more than six seconds. Also finished second in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.21) and 100-yard freestyle (51.92) and third in the 500-yard freestyle event (5:15.88).

Jason Flores, Southern Connecticut (Sr., New Haven, Conn.) - Swept the diving events against Saint Rose and Queens, posting scores of 254.45 and 147.65 in the one- and three-meter events, respectively.

Kristen Frost, Southern Connecticut (So., Madison, Conn.) - Won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.92) against Saint Rose and Queens. Also was a part of the victorious relay teams in the 200-yard medley relay (1:59.55) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:46.37).

Jennifer O’Neil, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Stratford, Conn.) - Won the 200-yard individual medley (2:20.57) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:32.99) against Saint Rose and Queens.

Aaron Rocheleau, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Newington, Conn.) - Won the 1000-yard freestyle (10:03.63) and finished second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:54.76) against Queens and Saint Rose.

Daniel Vitagliano, Southern Connecticut (Sr., New Haven, Conn.) - Won the 50-yard freestyle (23.07) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:51.26) against Queens and Saint Rose. Also swam the lead leg on the victorious 200-yard freestyle relay squad (1:32.13).

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: Freshman Anne Kaduboski broke the school record in the 200 butterfly, with a time of 2:11.42 at Wheaton. All told, she has reduced it by 4.81 seconds this season.
